@creazyfroag Yeah it is. The lyrics are very clear and indirect but since they have the hippy thing going on people just ignore it and say its just them on drugs. If you look closely at the lyrics some are very depressing. Take Time To Pretend for example. They are talking about how they must choose to ignore the truth and pretend because once you sell your soul you learn secrets. More importantly, you realize that the bible is true but they cant tell you b/c thats part of the code.

@creazyfroag Btw, I don't listen to MGMT anymore since I've become a born-again Christian. Once I've humbled myself to Lord Jesus Christ He has opened my eyes to these things. MGMT aren't the only band who has "sold their soul" to the devil. Many artists and bands have done this.

Most people don't know that "The Handshake" is referring to the blood contract musicians are required to sign when signing with Columbia. Yes, mgmt signed a contract in their own blood, essentially selling their souls, for black credit cards and shoes. You can tell its a decision they regret. Doesn't take away from the fact that this is a fucking badass song
