I'll tell you an horror story. I live in a peaceful city close to Mexico City, where crime was low. Then they built a maximum security prison 45 mins away. That was 5 years ago. Now, my city is one of the most dangerous in Mexico, because criminals locked up there are cartel leaders who brought their families and gangs with them and my city is a war zone of 2 cartels. Prisons are supposed to make people feel safe, but in my city, a prison brought all our problems.

I'll tell you an horror story. I live in a peaceful city close to Mexico City, where crime was low. Then they built a maximum security prison 45 mins away. That was 5 years ago. Now, my city is one of the most dangerous in Mexico, because criminals locked up there are cartel leaders who brought their families and gangs with them and my city is a war zone of 2 cartels. Prisons are supposed to make people feel safe, but in my city, a prison brought all our problems.

I don't get it...as I'm reading the comments a lot of people are expressing their sympathy for the Russian prisoners. But if I were to watch a video on anything involving human rights violations of innocents in the middle east or poorer nations, the comments are hateful, hurtful, and narcissistic. I always get sad when I see prison tattoo artists. Some of these guys are some of of the best visual artists in the world. And the tattoos they make with crude homemade guns look better than any tattoo parlor. They shouldn't be in prison,they should be running their own shop. Sooo sad.

Yes US has better living conditions (than Ukraine where i'm live) and a lot of things with what you can live like a God but even when we don't have flickering NY, Vegas etc.shit, I love my Motherhood (with crime and other huge problems), Ukrainians, Russians, Belorussians... and I don't want to live in US because we have such thing which West wouldn't ever have. I watched these video and video "America's Hardest Prisons". What can i say?
In US prisons:
-prisoners look very healthy, happy, very often laughing, etc.
-they have badminton court, basketballs area, gyms huge as walking area in russian prison etc.
In post-USSR prisons:
-despair, crippled heart and soul, depletion, deadly diseases, humility
-living conditions which in US even animals don't live.
After that America's "hardest" prisoners look like celebrities on their expensive vocation.
