why alter something was great to begin with,a real fan presents something in it's origanal form, never mind ripping off Star Buck's song from BSG'a last episode......
@none02910 "Why alter something [which] was great to begin with"
Because if you want to watch the scene as intended by Paramount you can buy the DVDs. I have no intention of showing you for free something you should be paying for.
and what you have posted isn't copyright infringment? um lets see DS9 clip along with music swipped ooooops I mean borrowed and by the way I OWN all DVD sets and never uploaded anything ever but hey I'm not the crook am I ?
@none02910 Of course it is copyright infringement. It shouldn't be, but it is.
My point is this: You want to watch the scene then watch your DVDs, and if you don't have the DVDs then go away and buy them. What would be the point of me putting the unaltered scene on YouTube? I already have the DVDs if I want to watch it.
If you want the unaltered scene put up on YouTube then do it yourself, but don't dare to claim I'm not a real fan just because I want to do something halfway original.
@none02910 By the way, a real fan would know that the song is from the fourth last episode, not the final episode. The song from the final episode was this: watch?v=8Yj0Iwa8_gk
sigh, what was playing in the background as star buck was entering in the jump numbers to jump to earth, the battle hym of the repubic as the colony was getting BBQed.........
The track that played as Kara jumped the ship in Daybreak was called Kara's Coordinates, that was based off of the track Kara Remembers from episode 4x17 (Someone to Watch Over Me), which was in turn based off of Heeding the Call/All Along the Watchtower from the season 3 finale. The Colonial anthem plays as Sam pilots the fleet into the sun, and the track is called The Heart of the Sun.
The track I used in this video was Kara Remembers.
@TheGodBen What's the point of this video? You're still infringing on their copywrite, but you've butchered it by adding really crappy music. What an artist!
@davenielsen78 This video was one of a series of examples I made for a discussion I was involved in on a forum several years ago about DS9's music. Specifically, I was exploring what DS9 may have been like with a different composer.
I never said I was an artist, just a nerd with too much time on my hands.
well a real fan appreciates and respects the music. Clearly, he is more of a BSG fan than you are because, he corrected you below on the music. LOL haha.
But seriously, the song is in its "original form" which TheGodBen did. So what's your point again? Oh...he put it to a different video. Wow! pointless argument and I'm displeased that I have to even reply to yours - but I have to - to correct you.
Damn, the Defiant started off strong.

This is awesome. Can't put it better than that.

The background music was rather unnecessary...

Very nice - Now I wonder what DS9 would have been like if Bear McCreary were the composer. Awesome like it is now, but more so.

May I suggest to make a video with Resurrection Hub

very good, shame theirs no way of taking the music that was already in the scene out without messing with the dialogue though

Is the Invasion of Cardassia getting Assault on the Colony?
MysidianMoments 2 years ago
Assault on the Colony runs for 15 minutes so it wouldn't fit on YouTube, and there probably wouldn't even be enough footage from the battle!
I'm not sure if I'm going to do anymore of these videos, I'm not sure if any of the other tracks from BSG would work.
