my apache looks like this one but has 3 leds. it's not the syma S009 but a larger model that was quite stable when trimmed of course. but it looked great!

pull the battery bundle out. it takes 8 double-A's, not 4.

the battery holder has 2 sides. lol i had the same problem as you until i fliped it around
