  • It is like the song was an extension of himself. Like simple breathing. Just flows ...

  • It doesn't get any better,

just wish someone had posted "When did you leave heaven."

    RIP Dear Charles Brown.

    Thanks for this gem.

  • Smoooooth baby!

  • nah your shits so beat up from chronic masturbation when a girl sees your penis she probaly asks how chris brown is

  • weak...a chris brown joke? I liked where you were headed at the beginning but you wound up sucking ass

  • i know you liked where i headed at the beginning, the mere thought of a girl seing your penis probaly brings a big smile to your face because youve never even seen a vagina in real life

  • no, I liked the chronic masturbation part, it seemed like you were headed somewhere funny around that particular part, but then everything after that was dissapointing

  • just like your life after third grade

  • I can tell you fancy yourself a funny guy, so I'm just guna stop commenting now and let you continue to think you're a comedian

  • @Rmelcher77 Whats a vagina?

  • Charles Brown has to be one of my all time favorite blues artists. His voice is smooth and he makes his piano playing look easy. Charles, you are missed!

  • The last lines Bye, Bye, Baby, Bye, Bye.

They were said to be Tim Buckleys last words before he overdosed on herion. Great Song and lots of soul though :). KJO

  • There's nothing just "not bad, pretty good" about Charles Brown -a total American original. It's great that he was able to get a taste of the good life in his terrific '90s comeback period. He's one of the best (only?) exponents of a true "cocktail" blues, melding jazz, blues and pop in a wonderfully classy but still downhome blues. Thanks for the pro-Charles comments! Love it all!

  • Impeccable Piano, you forget that he's playing alone. The rhythm is so consistent that it sounds like an entire band.

  • not bad, pretty good, but i like the EC version more and i like guitar more than piano.

  • There would be no EC version if not for Charles Brown.

  • Outstanding! One of the greats. I'm so glad I took adavantage of the opportunity to see him love. All fifty times!

  • i mean.."live"

  • Man, I see what Ray Charles was talking about when he said he used to impersonate charles brown.

  • Thanks for posting that - I love Charles Brown. What a voice. Late night despair at its finest.

  • Wonderful - many thanx for posting

  • Oh yeah, this is the great Charles Brown. I will always love him and his music! He gave me a lot and once I had the opportunity to say thank you to him - back stage at a concert in Cologne, he was so gentle and cordial, I never will forget this conversation with him. I nearly listen every day to his songs. Driftin' is always moving! Thank you for posting it!
