  • Every Sunday is bloody, if you have been out on Saturday

  • 17 dickheads (post from 1999csvt) need medical attention quick kill them and put them out of their misery

  • 22 feb 1905 you fuckers use propyganda to tell your own lies

  • this song reminds me a lot like the event in Russia during world war 1, and it so happens that event was called the bloody Sunday (before you prove me wrong look it up)

  • Its sad how much fighting is going on in the comment section for a U2 song.

  • where are the songs about the thousands of innocents murdered by IRA terrorists?

  • Actually this song has a lot to do with America he came here and saw everyone get along and wrote this song about the ongoing violence of the IRA.

  • Good song

  • It's 40 years today. Bloody Sunday should never be forgotten.

  • As an Englishman I recognise all the crimes committed by the British Government in Northern Ireland. However I only support the unification of Ireland in the long term aka 20-25 years from now when the Protestants in the North will accept unification. Who wants a renewal of the troubles and for the Loyalists to do to the Republic what the IRA did to England? Is instant unification worth death and misery? Wait for the right political conditions for a peaceful free united Ireland. Not too long now

  • Song #4 of The Period Mix

  • The song insult the people that dead for hunger strike, like Bobby Sands, the people remember the norhen Ireland conflict not for the dead people but for U2 ,the band of DUBLIN

    Shame!

  • GOD I FUCKING LOVE CHEESE

  • One of the best songs that I have EVER heard in my entire life.... so haunting. I love U2 if only for this song...

  • @MICHAELC0100 Any comment about decades of IRA atrocities or are you happy to just cherry pick your statistics?

  • @MICHAELC0100 You do know initially the Queen commended the men in charge of the operation....

  • People will always fight about religion, it's inevitable. but really, why the animosity? Enjoy the song, listen to the words!

  • @FeliciaKG STFU you american cocksucker

  • 30 years old song and still great!

  • what i love about U2 is that all their albums are different, not like other bands that always sound the same.

  • It's great to see the divide healing - nothing to lose but fear & so much to gain!

  • Guys, guys! Just enjoy the song...

  • Tolerate one another! I don't care where you come from what you believe, you guys argue that christians are evil and that people should be doing what they want instead of practicing religion. Ever think maybe that's what they want to do? You guys are fucking mean, please just stop and think before you write a Youtube comment.

  • These religious discussions are useless. No one's gonna change their beliefs because of a fucking Youtube comment.

  • i thought it was dead-end street, not ghetto street? and what does america and japan have to do with this, it's about bloody sunday?

  • this is e good song

  • @FolktalePatchwork & now to something completely indifferent: back to thee bitches yeah!"

  • Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".

  • @Durbot999

Jed Maxwell is watching, you mentalist.

  • Why are American and Japanese in the description?

  • one of their best songs if not the best :D

  • i love this song only 15 but freaking i have it on my itunes so awsum

  • I love U2, they make me proud to be half irish decent. Such a great timeless band <3

Oh, and "As Usual"? I don't think so.

  • i meant citizen , i choked on a cheap hamburger from mc donalds ! hormoned meat .

  • answer to your question , yes i am an american cizen but my research will get the rfid chip recalled because , if you have an embedded biochip . rfid chip , your bone marrow is depleated near a cell phone tower at the terahertz levels ! remeber that when you all are dying of cancer ! understand all ? or did i not make myself clear enough ? remember triggerlocks ? at walmart ? yes masterlock s not selling them anymore at walmart ? see ? rfid is next ! try to stop me freemasons /illuminatti !

  • @EXPOSER2BE

I think a social revolution is on hand too, the world sucks right now. Every thing is out of the line.

every country is moving in the political right side. (you're US?) even the people in the US they don't see what great things the democrats did. the health insurance, the end of the war in Irak. We can't just throw out every foreigner out of the country, as a country we have to adapt to the world. by people's stupidness they have to be protected against being too free.

  • @p1gm4nb0l0x actually this song has a lot to do with America he came here and saw everyone get along then took this song back to break up the IRA kid.

  • @Normankay haha your beyond stupid it was the brits who killed the innocents on bloody sunday

  • TO CLAIM THE VICTORY JESUS WON on Sunday bloody Sunday

  • @CRASHMAGNET2011 The government killed that chap Jesus. Like John Lennon and Martin Luther King. You can't be speaking freedom. Get it? Got it.

  • oh how funny you left out the last lyric which said "To claim the Victory Jesus WOn onj, Sunday Bloody Sunday" I guess it wasn't your view but it was theirs

  • That is just a fact. The 4 Catholic counties of the 6 counties of occupied Ireland should be allowed to join into unoccupied Ireland.

  • hey moodini how bout u chill out and let peoples thoughts flow with no restrictions instead of being hated on by a douche bag like yourself

  • @abusivechicken Moodini! Haha, that's awesome.

  • 5 people love eating babies

  • i love hearing songs about irish people being slaughtered

  • Iba en el coche, ha sonado esta canción y he pensado... a Miguel quizás le guste!! Sí???

  • its all wrong you morons....

  • I have this CD.

    I love U2 <3

  • the trick is to click to tubifier.com to find this mp3.

  • we got our independance from britain so lets be happy. long live the republic of ireland, fought an empire and won.

    god bless ireland

  • You didn't fight and empire and win. The British empire relinquished Ireland from it's dominion because it was no longer economically beneficial, just like the rest of he colonial countries.

Ireland is a great country though, and Britain treated it like shit, so it's good that it's a republic. Bless Ireland, but not 'God Bless', God's a moron.

  • paramores is better :)

  • THE GREATEST SONG IN THE WORLD !!!

  • la meilleur musique actuelle

  • Fuckin brits....Someday they'll pay for their atrocities they've committed on the Irish people

  • @SaintPaul122 Oh let's just forget all the bombs the IRA planted around Britain, killing numerous innocents, including children, in the process. I'm not excusing what the British army did, even the Prime Minister doesn't defend it. But next time, think before you start talking shit, prick.

  • @MrTheo187 I never said the IRA didn't commit atrocities. Personally, I'm not a supporter of the IRA. But the IRA wouldn't have had to been formed if the Brits weren't such fucking imperialist pigs. In that regard, I support the IRA. They are the only ones in Ireland to stand up for the Irish people. But I do not support their methods. It's a tragedy when children die, but guess what? That's fucking war. It happens every day. So stop singling out the IRA.

  • @SaintPaul122 The Brits were prepared to grant Ireland their rights way back in 1914, but a little thing called WWI happened so the decision had to be postponed, the majority of the Irish agreed to fight in the war on this promise, which I support by the way. But a minority (the future IRA) split off and refused to fight in the war and started acquiring weapons from the German forces to start a civil war! And oh I guess cause is happens in war and happens often it should be ignored...

  • @MrTheo187 Why should they have fought in a war that they had no part in? And did I say it should be ignored? No, I most certainly did not. I don't condone the murder of children in ANY situation. But the IRA shouldn't be singled out for it. You're acting as if the IRA are the only ones who use bombs. The Yanks, the Brits, the Germans, the Irish; EVERYBODY WHO HAS EVER FOUGHT IN A MODERN WAR HAS USED BOMBS! And with bombs come collateral damage. It's sad, but its true.

  • @SaintPaul122 Because if they did then Ireland might have been granted independence earlier, but they just wanted to express their frustration of the situation rather than take the logical option. I'm not singling out the IRA for it at all, the murder of 13 innocent protestors by the British Army was horrendous, and should not and has not been defended by the British at all. I was just illustrating that the Brits have paid for this conflict severly, and so your earlier comment was just venomous.

  • @MrTheo187 The British offered the Irish their own version of "independence". It was called Home Rule. It wasn't independence at all. The British only wanted to install Irish politicians that were loyal to the crown so that there was an illusion of independence. That's not right. Look, I know that the modern British people aren't responsible for what happened in the past. So I recant and apologize for my previous statement. But you must understand that there's a lot of lingering tension.

  • There shoudln't be any lingering tension. There is virtually nobody alive from the time that Irish regained independance. It doesn't do any good dwelling on the past. Imerial Britian is a thing of the past, so is British Ireland.

  • @moodini99 I'm sure the Irish people will take your opinion into account. But I for one won't. You obviously know nothing of the Irish people. We aren't dwelling in the past. The Irish people who still fight are fighting for those Catholic Irishmen who are treated as second class citizens in the north. Those who think the branches of the IRA are bad need only look at the actions of the loyalist Irish terrorist organizations. And for the record, there never was a "Britsh Ireland".

  • @moodini99 Any true Irishman will tell you that. The only British Ireland there ever has been and ever will be are the "Irishmen" who continue to support your corrupt system of hypocrisy and elitism. Also, the only reason the British ever relinquished control of ANY of it's colonies was because they no longer held the military might to hold them all. Don't speak of these things as if you know everything about them. I'm a college history student if you're wondering.

  • A college student? So what. Everyone went to school, mate. It is you that is out of your depth, you clearly don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about.

You think that you speak for every Irishman, you don't. In fact, you're with the minority. My Father and half my family are from N.I, and they are all unionists, as are the majority of those living in Northern Ireland.

You're from the republic, I have more in common with N.I than you do. They're part of the U.K, just like me.

    Idiot

  • @moodini99 Never did I once say that I spoke for every Irishman. I don't consider you loyalist pigs Irishmen. And I am aware that the majority of people in Northern Ireland support the UK. I'm not worried about those traitors. I'm worried about the minority who don't. As far as I'm concerned, if the majority loves Britain so much then they should leave Ireland to we true Irishmen and go to Britain.

  • You certainly inferred it. You're from the Rebublic. You're neither from Northern Ireland nor the U.K mainland, so this doesn't concern you anymore than it does me. The majority that vie for the unionist option are Irish, they live there, they were born there. Who the fuck are you to think you have more rights to live there than them? It is the Nationalists that are the traitors, they should move to the republic if they don't like it

You're a disgrace to Ireland. You bring shame to true Irishmen

  • I know people from the republic and they would never consider you to be a true Irishman, just a confused kid that doesn't understand the situation. I think you'll find that it isn't just a minority of Northern Irelanders that want to unite with the Republic, but it's also a minority of Republic Irishmen that want N.I to join. You're in the minority too. It's you that is being unpatriotic.

Stop making the decent Irish people looking stupid.

  • @moodini99 I really don't care what your traitor friends would consider me. I love my country. And that's why I hate the United Kingdom. I don't hate it's people, but I do hate for what it stands for.

  • You're the traitor. My friends are truely Irish. You don't even know what the U.K stands for. Besides, Northern Ireland is the U.K, so is the majority of it's people. They're both British and Irish, as Irish as you

I don't dislike Irish people, nor the country - I love it. Although I fucking hate Christianity, it's disgusting. Not that I dislike Christians, just the beliefs and ideologies. Anyway, I digress. Ireland is part of the U.K, and that is not going to change any time soon.

    Peace

  • @moodini99 Far too many have perished in the flames and suffered for a wrong interpretation of ideoligy, God's not wrong, just us being pricks in "His" name, same as Islam or any other faith that hijacks God to suit themselves, the one thing the Koran is right, we are all one people, so fucking grow up all

  • @SaintPaul122 the worst thing to happen to humanity is the idea of country, cos self and conscience have been crucified. How many evils are perpetrated in the name of national security? Its not our fucking security anyway..the ones who are wetting themselves are the ones with shitloads of security, not us!

  • @moodini99 When all's said and done, it's a piece of God's soil like anywhere else on Earth, there is no difference in a bit of soil in Eire as in Australia, politically, yes, its like, say I am a father (Like God is), and my children say their bit of carpet is more holy than their brothers and sisters,,,,,,,er....what? They in their own way reckon they worship me better than the others and know my mind? I think not! If I was God i'd pitch us in the Abyss, what an ornament we are

  • There is no God. Don't be so daft. Land has no intrinsic owner, it is inhabited by all manner of plants and animals. But we may as well divide it amongst various civilisations. God exists only in story books, and the minds of religious folk.

If I was God, I would kill every human that believed in me, because they have wasted time worshipping and praying, rather than creating their own path in life.

  • @moodini99 you sound like someone I should hang around with.

  • @moodini99 Sorry, this is a very ignorant comment. I will not argue with you and tell you that you are wrong, but you clearly don't know what people who follow god believe in. If you're going to say that you don't believe in god, then say it as your opinion, not as a given fact, because it is not a given fact, and its insulting that you play it off as a fact that he doesn't exist.

  • No, you're wrong, utterly so. This is way beyond your comprehension, you idiotic prick. You pathetic freaks aren't worthy of respect or courtesy; you're an embarrassment to mankind. It's 2011, for the fuck sake, time to discard your piece of shit, bronze-age delusions! Prick!

A grown man that believes in God, how fucking shameful. You're totally worthless. A true waste of life!

  • @moodini99 If you're going to be degrading and insulting then maybe I should change my mind about being civil in this discussion. I don't insult people for their beliefs. Don't you fucking DARE tell me that I'm the retarded one. I am proud to say that I believe in god. If you don't then you don't, but when you call me an embarrassment and totally worthless for believing in something that you don't then I'm not just gonna take it. Go fuck yourself sir.

  • You don't have belief in anything, you have delusion. The two are not synonomous. You're not only a disgrace to your country-folk, but to yourself, as well. If you believe in God (of the Abrahamic faiths), you have no worth, no value, no right to call yourself human. Such vile, archaic views serve only bring shame to humanity and all it has accomplished. You are worthy of neither respect nor courtesy. Discard you pathetic, fantastical 'beliefs', and maybe you'll gain a bit of dignity.

  • @moodini99 First of all, I do indeed have a belief in something. I must say you are probably the single most insulting person I've ever met on the internet. I don't give a flying fuck what you believe, but if you come at me and talk shit about my beliefs, then you really show how vile and disgusting YOU are. I have not once in my life ever insulted anyone else for their beliefs, nor have I persecuted them for believing something I didnt.

  • @moodini99 Its intolerance like you're showing right now that has led to genocide and destruction. I'm very tolerant of other religions as long as they don't try to force their will on me. Your comments show that you are extremely intolerant of ANY religion, and you call ME pathetic? Get a life, and stop worrying about what other people believe.

  • No. The only thing that caused the genocide and destruction was your piece of shit religion, and it's conflicting denominations. You shouldn't tolerate evil. Neither paedophilia, racism, homophobia, child abuse nor dogmatic religion like Christianity should be tolerated

I tolerate the vast majority of religions. Very few are as harmful and detrimental as Christianity and Islam. Christian beliefs aren't personal, they cause wars, violence, murder, sexual abuse, sexism, homophobia, seperatism etc.

  • I have no problem with Hindus, Zoroastrians, Sihks, Jains, Budhists etc. Thumb through the old testament. The encouraging tales of evil are not in small measure. Man, many Christians practice such evil in real life, all because of that filthy, evil book!

  • @moodini99 If someone is truly a christian, they'd know that doing evil is...well, evil. There are a great number of so-called christians that say they're christian, and act totally in opposition to what they should be. Its the actions of people that determine who they are. I could say I'm a doctor, but if I've spent my whole life being a mechanic then I'm obviously not a doctor.

  • @moodini99 I agree with you that organizations like the Catholic church tend to be very corrupt and do very immoral things, but I don't follow them because they're obviously not true christians. They say they are and then extort money and call for crusades, etc. They have too much power, and just like anyone with too much power they become corrupt.

  • @moodini99 For fuck sake! Listen to the music, you sound like my mom!

  • Lol. No we won't. We don't pay for anything. Plus, don't blame someone's crime on their ancestors. The Irish caused their own troubles. If there were no Irish unionists, then there wouldn't have been any trouble.
