Yes PRETTY GOOD, I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. MAKES ACHANGE FROM THE KORNGOLD OF BLAST AND TEARS. HE WAS A COMPOSER OF MUCH VARIATION AFTER ALL. AS TO THE ART DECO REMARK. IT W A S ARTDECO THEN YOU CHARLEY. NOT SOME RETURN TO HISTORY. I OUGHT TO KNOW FOR I AM A JAZZ AGE BABY. SO THERE !!! 9 out of ten for presentation .
Love the music with your tribute. Claudette looks stunning in every photo. She always worn her clothes well, they never worn her. A lady ahead of her time.
@dadasopher You're very welcome. I try to applaud those of us who appreciate movie history. Combining Colbert and Korngold must have been quite an inspiration. The only thing they have in common to me is hard "Cees".
Claudette was beautiful..on both sides. But, She always felt that her right side was 'Apple Cheeked' and didn't photograph well. Even though in reality, She always looked beautiful from either side. She thought otherwise. She was powerful enough in Hollywood to get her way. And did. So, She is almost always filmed with her left proile.
She specifically stated that she would be only shot from the left side of her face. I read that her right side was referred to as the dark side of the moon.
notice all the profile shots show the left side of her face, and even in the frontal she tries to angle her face a bit to the right -'twas one of her peeves i read
Right! Odd remarks on this video yet again.

Claudette's costumes are SO Art Deco. I knew there were more than two reasons why I liked this movie.

Funny how our mirror face can drive some of us crazy. Even movie stars. Somehow, in the Cleopatra bath scene it really doesn't matter to anyone.

Great combination of stills and music. Claudette never looked or sounded better (talking aside).

she broke her nose as a child and had a small lump on the right side of her nose. She was sensitive about it, so beautiful though... such class!

What exactly was wrong with her right side?

I thought she looked great on all sides!

I've heard she insisted to be filmed only with her left side. I don't know why.
