God I miss this show. Jack+Kate+Sawyer+Locke...all such moving characters. And I will never forget how sad I was when this series ended. I now want to watch it through again!
@godscuttingyoudown ur no tv critic, and if you were you should be fired for not having emotions or good plot realization, I havent seen a single episode and I'm ten and I know more than you don't you see that jack saving Hurley helps set the mood between them for the whole series? Not to mention the ending heard how that happened very emotional

2. plane fuel is vapor, an open spill of fuel will evaporate in second so this idea the writers had about the plane as the metaphoric monster constantly blowing up every 5 seconds no wonder their TV writers
it wasn't cheesy like tv shows are always ...it was like movie are ya know? like they spent time on effects and actors - the script is gripping..it had me caring about the characters instantly in the first pilot episode. i doubt anything will come close to this anytime soon... the actors, writers and directors did well in my opinion. so many separate stories and you care for all of them...it was beautiful to me.

Man I must have watched this scene a hundred times and only now have I noticed that there's a passenger hanging upside down from his seat in the fuselage of the plane @ 2:56. Made me laugh!

@Lynuz7 Jack was on the plane bringing his dead father back home to be buried. He wanted to get it done quick and didn't want to pay/find dress shoes for the Dad he didn't love so he bought white tennis shoes. The other one is found hanging from another tree near where the Monster killed the pilot so it means it also destroyed the body.
@Lynuz7 Because Jack put it on his dead father's foot, and put his dead father in a coffin, and put the coffin in a plane and Seth Norris put the plane in the air, and Desmond Hume put the plane on the island making the plane break and for everything to fall out of the plane (since it's now broken) onto the island including the coffin and I guess Jack didn't tie the shoe so it flew off Christian's (Jack's dead dad) foot and got caught on the bamboo.
Funny if you compare this episode with the final episode. In this episode, Jack OPENS his eyes, the dog is there and so is the shoe and a plane is nearby. In the Final episode, Jack CLOSES his eyes, the dog is there, and so is the shoe. and a plane flies overhead. I believe the entire 6 seasons were a dream. Why not, they did it on Dallas years ago???
I dont know is people realized that Jack went to Hurley to take over watching over Claire, similar to him handing the guardianship to Hurley in the finale....maybe Im overthinking but hey thats the one the great things about 'Lost'

Funny if you compare this episode with the final episode. In this episode, Jack OPENS his eyes, the dog is there and so is the shoe and a plane is nearby. In the Final episode, Jack CLOSES his eyes, the dog is there, and so is the shoe. and a plane flies overhead. I believe the entire 6 seasons were a dream. Why not, they did it on Dallas years ago???

I dont know is people realized that Jack went to Hurley to take over watching over Claire, similar to him handing the guardianship to Hurley in the finale....maybe Im overthinking but hey thats the one the great things about 'Lost'

@vasko28 No dude you're not over thinking. Remember when the sub was sinking? He trusted Hurley to swim Kate to shore. He also doesn't give hurley any heat when he wants to start a census in 1x10 or hand all the food out to everybody in 2x04.
