That's a pretty daft explanation. The meanings of words change all the time. "Marriage" originated from a time when homosexuality was not accepted or understood. It also had different implications than it has today. If it was "written in stone", there would still be no interracial marriage. Marriage (marriage under the LAW) is what it is. It is absolutely ridiculous to grant a minority group the exact same rights and then give them another name, as if to mark them out.

Well, since I believe in human rights I would've said marriage is for all. However, if I didn't I still wouldn't think myself as high to say "in my country" as if this country doesn't belong to anyone else. I would've said that in the grand scheme, my individual doesn't matter -- it's what the people believe -- the majority. It was a personal blow to PH, so I can understand why he was so hurt. Everyone's entitled to their opinions right? She kept her crown, so why does it matter anymore?

Seven million of that 60% are in her home state. Now, there is a VERY small minority (the liberal media and a small percentage of homosexuals) attempting to destroy this girl.
