I get so much emotional over this song. It hits home unbelievably. When Billie sings his little melisma after "from a stone", I cry. Then he continues to do falsetto at "One, 21 guns" with Freese's beautiful piano accompaniment. It's so beautiful. You can hear the meaning in his vocals. Billie Joe, you are and always will remain my number one hero. You inspire me and I can't thank you enough. Thanks for everything, pint sized punk<3

I did notice that they took out what Billie Joe said while the piano is playing. In the live video from the show he talks for a few seconds about finally being home for the last show and thanking the fans for their support the "last 22 years". Still, I was at this show and they absolutely do sound this good live.
