ya but all the proto-punk bands came from the US. And The Ramones were playin' before The Pistols, who had only played a couple shows before they saw The Ramones in England and were also just a marketing ploy for Malcolms bondage shop so Punk was a scam from the beginning, its all about weeding it out. Saying Love and Punk don't belong together is pretty bold too, just look at The Clash. You can't change anything without passion. And there are plenty of great Punk bands still fighting.
