Love the Piezo Pickup 1% sparkle sound. I played my Gibson Firebrand with Electric, and Piezo Pickup today... It made me think of you and your sound. Live I mostly use my Acoustic/Electric strung with NYLON Classical Strings. Always impressed with the way you voice and arrange songs. Your DVD's should sell a million! Ttwo big thumbs up from me on the quality. I am a full-time Guitarist/DJ. You are the real deal. By the way, I thought I was the only one with duct tape on my guitar!
I watched your jazz fusion and funck segments I thougth they were oustanding. I have been trying to learn those types of flowing melodic leads but I cant hear them or hum them. I play by ear alot and I'm begining to learn tabs. Do these videos come with tabs
Excellent samples of your work Jake, I hope this good add helps to focus attention from players who could greatly benefit from studying with a great finger-style Maestro. Thanks for reminding me of using annotations for my arrangements which have greatly contributed to the selling of my work, hope all's well with you, Vic.
OH MY HOLY GOD! i just saw the part of the video where you use the half-pinky fingering you adopt to make F and E ring simultaneously and i will tell you: you just BLASTED ATUCK ANDRESS ITSELF ON FINGER DEXTERITY! : im sure Tuck Andress itself wouldnt be able to reach such finger-killing strecht of fingering you just used, that means YOU ARE SUPERIOR TO TUCK ANDRESS ITSELF, i tell you just raised the bar of fingerstyle technical challenges up 10 NOTCHES opver what Andress already did!
Very kind of you! I must, however, disagree: Tuck is still the unchallenged master of this style by far. I think more appropriately it can be said that I am deeply influenced by his style and if this was noticed in my playing, I'm happy enough. Thanks though!

Not necessarily! Try my Michael Jackson DVD for the song "I'll be There" and "Never Can Say Goodbye", you'll be pleased!
