Prasad, Thanks for creating this beautiful App. We have been using it for my daughter's practice for a few months now and it works great.Have you considered doing a remote for this App that will be with the vocalist and have certain buttons. Say one button will increase/decrease the Tabla to a set speed (During Taans, typically the speed is increased). One button to start/Stop the Tabla. Currently, the performing vocalist has to take the iPhone/iTouch in her/his hands and adjust the settings.

@ktmer09 This actually works (please email me with further questions). Just turn of the "Allow External Audio" setting in Settings screen to enable remote control. You still need a speaker dock that has a remote to use this (a lot of them like Bose, Logitech, etc. allow this).

This looks great. I have been using the iTanpura for a few months now. Since there's some duplication between the 2, I take it there's no upgrade path. Still seems good for $25.

I love this app so much. What a difference it makes to have real musicians writing apps to fit their own needs. If you are a drummer of any sort, or do a lot of music with odd time signatures, the education in rhythm that this app can give you is worth a lot more than the price of the app. (Turn on the display of the bols and learn them)
