  • Holy cow!!!! Hoth World rocked!! I got it for Christmas that year!! Loved it!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:11 Keener???? Or Kenner.

  • These star wars toys from kenner and hasbro are the best one ever!!!!

  • These kids aren't very imaginative when it comes to names: "You can't escape, Imperial Tie Fighter Pilot!" It's like the lines were translated from a foreign language or something: "Sie können nicht entkommen, Imperialenkrawattekämpferpilot!"

  • Kenner

  • update this now and it would be the perfect christmas toy :D im 13 and love toys

  • Stupid ewoks!!!!!

  • Wow, remember when kids played with toys?

  • Comment removed

  • @cdraico yea and not call of duty whats wrong with kids these days

  • Hoth was the best planet, ever.

Especially since it was named after a German general from WWII !

  • Comment removed

  • Wampa cave Luke's inside "ARGH ARGH" LOL!

  • @StarWarsNZReviews The Wampa had just had its limbs severed off by Luke. Kinda explains the situation. Lol.

  • WOMPA!!!!!

  • "You can't escape Imperial Tie-Fighter Pilot!"

So if he didn't touch the backpacks or the gas masks, he must be in the escape hatch of course!

  • That Hoth world set looks awesome. I had a huge Star Wars collection as a child.

  • Chewie is a pirate?

  • I'm pretty sure Chewbacca doesn't go around screaming "CHEWBACCA!!!!" so why would a Wompa stomp around screaming "WAMPA!!!!"?

  • So this is what kids did before video games...

  • Wampa!!!

  • I loved playing with my die-cast Star Wars toys when I was a kid, probably liked them more than the regular-size action figures. They had cool poses to them.

  • there like ghostbusters

  • I clicked because I thought that was a mountain of coke.

  • Thank God I was born in a time when there were still good toys. Kids now-a-days just immediately jump into computers and don't have a chance to develop their imagination.

  • I had the micro hoth set when I was a kid... But it wasn't much fun. The micro sets just weren't any fun.

  • What if I want to close the blast doors without rasing the rebel tower?

  • God, I loved those toys. My favorite figures were Luke in his X-wing suit and Bespin Han. Luke in his Tatoooine and Bespin suits and Han in his black vest were lame. Third and fourth were Boba fett and Vader.

  • 2:18 DAM KIDS AND THOSE TEDDY BEARS!

  • "STOP IMPERIAL TIE FIGHTER PILOT!" he was oddly specific

  • kid at 00:26 taking it a little too seriously, sadistic?

  • "You can't escape Imperial Tie Fighter Pilot!"

    lol!

  • Ah, to be young again.

  • 1:09 since when did Chewbacca talk like a pirate? lolz

  • I wonder how many Imperial Probe Droids were lost within the first week. Boing!!!

  • i love how they act like n166ers deserve stuff like this.

  • who's that Pokemon? It's Wampa! "Wampa! Wampa!"

  • I still have the Princess Neesa Ewok stuffed animal and its been stored away in plastic and in mint shape! I wanted Wicket but a friend of mine gave it to me for my Birthday...............

  • lol the generator exploded and they said good work?

  • I KNEW THAT ION CANNON COULD SHOOT HORIZONTALLY

  • Giant Boob-Nipple Gun at 0:19

  • I don't remember 2-legged walkers until ROTJ.

  • @scottandrewhutchins and why was it twice the height of the generators?

  • @scottandrewhutchins There is one that walks past in the background during the Hoth battle. It's design is a little bit different to the ROTJ ones, but it's definately in there.

  • Is it just me or did anyone else hate it when some kid said, "WOMPAAA!" on every commercial featured a wompa toy?

  • AAAARRRR!!!!! GARRRR!!!!!

  • Oh, I get it now. 42. The Ultimate question is how many Star Wars figures can you hold at once? 42.

  • replace the negroid in all the commericals with asians..WHERE ARE THE ASIANS!!! WHITE GUILT WHITE GUILT!!! LMAO ZzZzZ

  • the ion cannon looks like a giant boob nipple gun oh w8 that was on family -g

  • 1:20 thats what she said!

  • The world of Hoth is ours!!! yeah!!! ... so what now?... I dunno

  • Wow, memories! I had the Hoth Generator and the Troop Transport. One day back in '93 I was in a comic book store and the owner was looking to buy some stuff. He offered me $300.00 for the cardboard box that the transport came in. Just the box alone, not the transport. Unfortunately I didn't have it inymore :(

  • Aaaarr gaarrrr!

  • WAMPAAAA!!!!!

  • i love the way they keep saying 'sold seperately'!

  • Got that rebel transport, some1 know how much its worth today?

  • rebel transport was the biggest con ever, all the other big bases/ ships were good quality, the RT was just lazy design and manufacture. tossers.

  • what a great time to be a kid i'm so glad i was born in 1976.

  • the kids look wierd 0_0!!! they look like clones

  • damn kenner was collecting that money!

  • 0:52 YOU KNEW WHERE I WAS

    come on thats hilarious

  • wow this is one old commercial

  • holy crap! the 8-year old on the ion cannon just blew up the shield generator!

  • hahaha its snow troopers!! i like how thu middle red shirt guy its like playing with thu ion boob cannon SO INNAPROPRIATE

  • Argh, argh.

  • Are the events regarding the TIE pilot hiding in the Rebel transport canon? lol

  • Those Kenner Micro sets rocked

  • WAMPAAA!!!

  • Those ewoks still scare me.

  • my parents bought me a pet ewok before. i trained him to think my sister was a stormtrooper and it always threw rocks a her.

  • Poor kid just trying to deliver newspapers so he can help pay for his mom's operation and those two Ewok nuts are terrorizing him.

  • wtf

  • Man, kids were scary back then =| "Arrrggh! Gaaahhr!"

  • wtf why is wampa the smallest figure?

  • cool

  • 0.0 wow the 80s toys are better than today

  • awesome. i love ewoks too

  • I gotta find some of these "micro collection" toys on eBay. They'd be great for the Star Wars role-playing game.

  • LOL, the slickness of that last commercial (the Ewok dolls) was indicative of the direction of the entire series after ESB. Prior to that, the toys seemed like something that barely got to market and was meeting demand instead of artificially creating one. There was a charm to it all that's long since gone now.

  • whoa whoa did the the hoth world annoucer say figures included thts the only time i ever heard them say figures included

  • Only because it was micro

  • @carsonsmith Yeah but back then that was a MAJOR thing. Before those micro sets kids never had anything like those. Star Wars was the first of the action figure line (that size) and I remember getting the Death Star, but to get a set w/ figures that was awesome. I think this started playsets like them. There was a awesome military themed one which was cool. I cant remember the name, but they had a canteen that became an aircraft carrier, medals & ribbons that were smaller vehicles.

  • @creasy810 wow kids actually using their imagination. do kids today even pretend anymore?

  • @bobafettfan32 I do with my Luke Skywalker's snowspeeder I pretend there

are AT-ATs everywhere, good times....good times......

  • @bobafettfan32 how I so agree with you....its not some fucking avatar or virtual reality....just plain old parallel play...even barbie can be creative....its sad...i teach and a lot of kids have no type of idea how to create imaginative ideas....

  • @creasy810 yes, I had this set... they were die cast metal figures.

  • @creasy810 Yeah, I had this set. Still have the figures. Don't know why the rest is missing.

  • the world of hoth is ours....YEAH

  • The gasmasks are safe thats a relief for a minute I was tarting to worry that's what the pilot really wanted. lol

  • i remember i had not all of them but some of the star wars figures back in 83 84.the hoth world was great these were the real star wars figures.i was a kid in the 80s great memories

  • I love how the Chewie figure in the Hoth playset is in a perpetual pose of surrender...

  • WOMPA!

  • Look! Small enough to get lost in the sofa, and choke your baby brother!!

    ONLY FROM KENNER!!!

  • they use the same music in every dam add

  • I have the stormy pilot!!

  • Sorry what i said was uncalled for its just that they are screaming. But those ewok dolls are so cute especially how they were sitting on the kids laps

  • why? Their kids having fun.....

  • @carsonsmith and money and maybe those figures

  • Your pathetic all kids did this with their toys maybe not exactly as the commercial but who are you to judge these kids my father was a kid in the 80's and these commercials sold him into buying the toys cause those kids had fun with them

  • the thing of being a kid and having fun withouth worrying about life...... all was so easy and plain on that time.... you would have fun on a cardboard box ... and manage to transform it into your "h.q." it's so good to be a kid

  • Instead of adopting a cabbage patch kid, can I adopt an Ewok? lol

  • Holy shit in 1981...I was 10 years old!

  • lol !!!! that was awsome, thats so retro!!!

  • That last commercial has to be one of the gayest things I have ever seen.

  • no, just funny... your gay..

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmno, tokio hotel is gay, this is just recreating movies, but this time with (better) dialogues :) (don't hate me for saying that, you know it's true)

  • 3 words......... KIDS ARE GAY

  • i want that hoth base :(

  • Only if these 70's kids knew about Star Wars Galaxies...lol

  • LOL, I'm those kids age, We wold've KILLED for the new stuff they have today.

  • Oh the money they got from my mom and dad...

  • I know lol

  • i still don't hear the wampa say his name in the movie

  • WOW! haha "You knew where I was!"

  • man, that rebel transport thing looks frickin sweet. i want it. sadly, i'm about 30 years to late

  • "WAAMPAA!" xD

  • Yub Yub.

  • WAMPA

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • i love EWOKS!!!!!

  • Man I miss being a kid! I remember a coulpe of those commercials.....talk about bringing back memories.

  • I can relate, I also miss being a kid!! Best times ever and I am happy that it was the 80s that I grew up in too!! Thanks for the comment....

  • "Aim for the generators, man!" hahahaha

  • Nah he didn't say that, he said "Aim for the generators, MEN" as in, commanding his troops to fire.

  • Oh man i wanna be a kid again!

  • At least the Ewoks ad used actual music from the SW movies' soundtrack--Ah yes what cool memories-Mikey! ;-)

  • the background music was soo cool! hehe

  • I love how they call each figure by their generic product name.

  • haaa youre right!

  • huh?

  • LOL didn't you play with these whne you were young? You ain't that much older then me! But yeah, goofy advert!

  • Can you inmagine a tie fighter pilot in a rebel transport ? , and when he is found he tells the rebel trooper ' aah blast you knew where i was arggh

  • Hahaha That Would be Funny

The Non Violent way to kill a stormtrooper

find him in a rebel transport-giving him a heart attack

  • At 0:23 looks like the scout walker is already down??

  • And here I was, a young boy in 1997, thinking all of the stuff Kenner was putting out was brand new. Turns out they made this stuff years ago! Can't imagine how much money they made by putting the same stuff in new boxes

  • lol, they didn't put the same toys in new boxes. I collect Star Wars and the original toys are the best! Check out Dark Side Chats 9 (search for it on youtube). Thanks for the comment.

  • ah the memories

  • bane malar was called imprial tie fighter back then

  • I had the wampa cave. It was awesome.

  • cool....

  • they're small enough to fit in one hand :P how's that a good feature? lol

  • lol

  • he doens't even sound like chewy

  • poor little chew-bacca can't put his arms down -.-

  • Lol, capitalism.

  • "The world of Hoth is ours!!"...hey..that kid's evil! He's beating the Rebellion!

  • So a Tie Fighter gets shot down over Echo Base and the pilot, who survives the crash, decides to sneak aboard a Rebel transport just as the Rebel forces are evacuating the base so that he could inform Lord Vader of the location of the "rendevous point" and get promoted to Star Destroyer Captain?

  • The voice... the music... it all comes back to me.

  • lol

  • WAMPAA!
