@Irigom These days its called Boeing, in the same way some would call it the Boeing F-15 or the Boeing AV-8B.

Fact is, McDonnell Douglas actually designed and built the F/A-18 (based on the Northrop YF-17) and Boeing bought them out.

Production of the F/A-18A, which the Blue Hornets fly, finished before Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas.

Every single F/A-18A made was built by MDD.

@warriorxp111 This one was done with a DVD Recorder. The Xbox 360 (or whatever console) was just plugged directly into it.

These days though I'd record the Xbox 360 in HD using a Hauppaugel USB HD PVR.

@warriorxp111 Its a High Definition Personal Video Recorder that you plug your Xbox 360's component cables into, and then plug into your computer with a Universal Serial Bus cable and its made by a company called Hauppaugel. =P

I'm sure Google or the search engine of your choice can provide you all the details.

You unlock the alternate display liveries by completing missions on the hardest difficulty setting: Hell mode.

@gallant5k Yup, check a website like gamefaqs.com to find a list of what missions unlock each of the different display liveries.

(When it comes to smoke pods, they are in the manual weapon select screen. They can only be applied to certain aircraft)

1. yes you can make your own fight with your own opponents but if you just dont choose an opponent you can just free flight.

2.

in arena mode yes. but not in every mission.

buy the game it is fantastic.

if u go to the payload for the plane you can pick aerobatic and it puts in a smoke system that is used as a weapon

Depends entirely on your own experience with flight games.

Its harder than Ace Combat for example, you'll have to line everything up yourself.

And if you come in too fast, too hard or with too much bank, its possible to flip it or crash.

Personally, I wouldn't say its that hard, but I've been playing flight games since I was about 7 years old and have had a few real world flying lessons.

You'll see as close as the game allows at 4:55.

The pitch-up is a little on the slow side, but that's a game limitation. If you go faster, you'll have a more dramatic pitch up, but you'll gain a lot of altitude which defeats the idea of the cobra.

I didn't feel my run in the F-15J was worth including in the 10 minute video. Its still there in that link to the full thing.

Besides, with the F-16, F/A-18 and F-35 represented, its not like there was a shortage of US aircraft.

beat the game on hell mode. to unlock "hell mode" you must beat the game on expert! tip: make sure on you complete AREA 7 mission 10 to unlock the f 22 raptor or else ur gonna have lots of trouble. very fun game, im just about to get on it now! oh, and there is a way to get around hell mode to unlock the b-angel. search up sum cheats youll be good! laterz!

one hint: dont flare the F-18 so much. They CAN be flared (even though it isnt recomended) however, your tail end was poretty close there lol.

The F/A-18's tail did go pretty close to the ground on landing, but that's partly the point. It was all for show. Most of the aircraft, including the MiG-29, came pretty close to a tailstrike.

The video was recorded using an old Panasonic DVD recorder. Just plug the console into it and hit record, then import the resultant VOB files into Sony Vegas.

The final video was rendered as a .wmv before upload.
