This guy is an embarrassment. First of all, Karen isn't pronounced the way he says it. It's pronounced "Kuh-Rehn". I work with Karen children at the elementary school that I work at (I help teach English to immigrant kids). I probably prefer the company of my Karen children than almost anyone else. They're so bright and smart, and happy.

Burma is meant to be a Union of Burma after independence from British in 1948.Karen population is small compared to MON and SHAN, and there was country established in the History. Karen wanted autonomous Karen state that no Government would not allow. British and Burmese government (1948) never promised Karen to break away as a Republic. America was not involved.

Problem is military dictaorship. Help in restoring Democracy. Karen can live and prosper together with others in democratic country.

you can enter burma through the thailand friendship bridge but you must hand over your passport to cross the bridge but there is nothing stopping you from crossing the small river in mae sot un-noticed alot of karen people cross over the river everday illegally into thailand
