This was truly a game of David and Goliath in my opinion. I know both teams were undefeated but USC was riding a 34 game winning streak, going for 3 straight national titles, 2 straight Heisman winners and being dubbed the greatest dynasty ever. There was no reason to think SC's defense would stop Vince because they hadn't done it all game long, hence why Carroll decided to go for it on 4th down. You know you're good when the defense knows you're going to keep the ball and run and they STILL can't stop you!

I was there with my brother and watched Vince do what he did all that year..WIN! BTW...we showed out in southern california. It was at least 50-50 our fans verses them. NOBODY travels like TEXAS!
