Eh, the silhouettes aren't doing it for me. They're kind of sketchy and bland. I think they should have found some good illustrators - a good litmus test would be that their Snape doesn't look like Alan Rickman - and got them to do impressive-looking but non-spoilery illos to flash through. Think the Second Task, or the Advance Guard, or - best yet, as the films don't have it - the Deathday Party.
Actually it just tells that even if you think you know everything about Harry Potter, in fact you don't, because there's always something new to experience... Because the magic lies within.
I just don't think that the trailer is as bad as you think it is. I mean: Who doesn't know what Harry Potter is about? So they made a trailer with the message that you can always "experience something new" so that the people, who haven't read HP yet think that there is "more to the story" and buy the books. It's a commercial. What did you expect?
@CMFanxD actually, tons of ppl dont know wat harry potter is about, and if the point of this commercial is to introduce new generations to harry potter, than they need 2 make it more like the series, which get progressivley darker, i just think they need 2 make it more mature and not make it look liek a series like, idk, the fudge books or junie b jones or something like tht
@amateurperson well, it starts out that way. At first, she was writing for kids. It got heavier and darker and turned into a story that happened to be about kids.

Harry Potter is awesome but to me, this trailer doesn't really capture the epic-ness of Harry Potter. The new book covers look terrible btw.
