  • This is now my favorite choral piece. It used to be I was glad but the delicate voices here pierce my heart. Many people criticize John Rutter for being too formulaic but I disagree. The intent of the piece is twofold: first, to praise God and second, to bless this holy union. I feel that both have been accomplished and excellently.
