Dont worry too much about the setup... Any cheap wide truck with a rather stiff board would do the trick.

I started DH on Indy's 215 with a Fibreflex 44 and bombed that way for over a year.

So Randal 2 or DH, a cheap S9 BombHills or any other downhill board is juuuuuust fine :)
