@meuass72 general shepard was a US general but betrayed them and was behind the whole plot of mw2 [read it on wiki its really long]. they had to kill him because they were the only people who knew what really happened and couldn't let shepard write history and make himself a hero [the game stresses throughout the plot that 'history is written by the victors']

the game was less about story and more about balls to the wall action, it was like a guilty pleasure all about having fun and the multiplayer CAN be fun too if there aren't any particularly douchey ppl in the match. overall it was maybe 7/10 MAYBE

He must of been brought back to life by CPR some time after soap gets lifted out of there. Im not sure, but thats my best guess.

I sort of like the Cod 4 ending a little bit better.

The part where you kill Shepard was cool, but it's just you and price on a boat.

In COD 4 it was you and maybe 15 other guys in a high speed chase with trucks exploding and falling over cliffs, then the HIND taking out the bridge, and you guys in your "Final Stand" Then everyone of your squad dying. It seemed more dramatic to me.
