I can usually tell a screamer from a mile off, but one really got me once. I was just watching an episode of the Simpsons online and about 15 minutes in a screamer popped up and scared the crap out of me purely because it was so unexpected.

What I do:

Check the comments! If they are not there, there's a good chance it's a popup. I skip slowly to the end, to see what is is. BE WARY, PEOPLE!! Some crafty poppers put it in the middle.

Read the description! Generally things like "Its there, watch very closely" are put there, to make you watch it closer.

Take note of videos that ARE popups to make sure you dont get scared again.

I saw my first popups when I was 7(two in the same day-Ghost in Car Commercial and an EVP video). Good Luck!
