The wrong portrait is due to a mistake I made when I created the video. I am so sorry about that, but... you can always listen to Callas' voice with your eyes closed: Callas will help you dream!
great! we simultaneously get to hear the beautiful anna moffo and see the likeness of the great callas. this is such a beautiful aria - and it is wonderful to salute these two wonderful divas in the same moment. imho your mistake was pure serendipity.
What's the link between this portrait of Callas and the "Caro nome" from Rigoletto sung by splendid Anna Moffo? The portrait is not too bad, actually! And I would suggest to correct the spelling of Rigoletto ... Thanks for posting anyway
with no offense to callas fans - i prefer not only moffo's voice, but would prefer her image too
sorry, french is not one of languages i speak, so i don't get earlier references to the same point - ... huh, i'm always weary of ferocious callas fans...
It's too bad you have this posted along with a portrait of Callas (which is beautiful). This by far my favourite recording of this beautiful aria. Anna Moffo is charming, youthful,as Gilda yet full of passion and grace throughout the colouratura. Her musicality is unique, and priceless. Thank you for posting this anyway.
How dare you to post this as Maria Callas. This is Anna Moffo, another DIVA of the 60's & 70's. You should be a bit more prepared before posting something in the name of La DIVINA, La Callas!!! :)
I'm unsure if this is Maria Callas. Maybe this came from the studio recording of 'Rigoletto' conducted by Tullio Serafin, in 1955? It could be as Maria's vocal decline started to show in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It's a beautiful, colourful and expressive voice.
Wonderful, just love this girl!! Thanks for posting.

The UGLY Callas wasn't enigmatic!!!
She was perfect ¿¿¿¿¿?????? let me laugh: ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha- HO-HO-HO-HO-HO!!!!!!!!
She had a lot of trademark FAULTS on her UNPOLISHED metallic voice (no tone, no control....and more).
NOT MENTION HER DISASTROUS AND FRAYED "COLORATURA" = UNSTEADY and WEAK HIGH NOTES.
YOU ARE DREAMING!!!!!!
She is SCREAMING horribly singing O MIO Babbino Caro in London. No control, no tone, NO VOICE.
VOICE OUT OF TUNE
