Kona Crying to the Door..

HE USED TO OPEN THE DOOR?? and people say cats r stupid. maybe u can help me tho, my 5 year old black kitty shadow has taken to peeing where she wants. how do i retrain her to use the box?

@ekimbro08 could be as simple as getting her some medication from your vet (UTI) or you may need to lock her in a small room with a litterbox and decontaminate your house.. tough to say

Are Kona and Jupiter indoor cats, outdoor, or both?? Because my (2) cats cry every time i keep them indoors. I don't want them to get run over. (my oldest cat nearly got run over by a car.... :'( scared the living life out of me...so i don't want to risk their lives.)

in my opinion i think your cats would be just fine. i have an outdoor cat that cry's as well when she wants to go outside. in fact having them be outdoor cats would probable be better for them 'cause then they get exercise and get to hunt. now if there declawed i don't recommend it but if they are still clawed give it a try. my outdoor cat has been going in and out for about 4-6 years and has only ever gotten an abrasion on her tail and even then that was from a different cat.

lol My cat Garfield does that a lot too but with the door in our hall, mostly when we're trying to sleep and he wont stop until I get up and open it...then when I do he doesnt even go through lol aah cats!

I forgot to say - smart move on the round handle! I also had to change a door handle to stop my boys (cats) invading a lodgers room - I stupidly thought turning the handle so you lifted it would stop them but it only took a few hours for them to act as a double act - one would leap up and head butt the handle whilst the other pushed the door open!! Cats are so smart! :)

I loved this video! When I lived in my flat I didn't have a cat flap to start off and I'd let the cats out the front door - when they wanted to come in they'd hang off the door handle with one paw and bang on the front door with the other! x
