Obama was fantastic in this interview. I hope everyone had a chance to see it in it's entirety. Yes, the difference is that simple. McCain is espousing cold war ideology. Obama sees the benefits of diplomacy. Obama's is obviously the more intelligent and pro active position. He has such a breadth of knowledge on this topic and sees the big picture. I can not wait for the first debate! I can not fathom McCain even beginning to articulate his point the way Obama does, much less understand it.

no the fact is, and he's said this before...that he speaks his mind on issues without caring where he ends up on the political spectrum. It may be that a lot of his positions sound liberal to you, but that doesn't make him liberal. And the problem anyway is that the focus in the media is always about left-right, not realizing that people don't like to think that way. the fact is that if the majority of a person's opinions or positions on various issues are liberal, then their ideology is more liberal. if he was more centrist or reasoning-oriented, when liberal exaggerations of inaccuracy have been voiced by his guests he would have attempted to moderate and correct those points. his interviews are composed of softball questions to liberals he agrees with.
