  • I would trust a doberman with my baby.I use to have one many years ago.Unique character, and only those who have a doberman can understand.

  • Most dogs are good with kids.

Unless the kids are stupid and provoke them.

Then they deserve whatever they get.

Parents- teach your kids to respect animals.

  • Dobermans are very protective of their humans.

  • I like how people want to demonstrate how save a dog is with the life go their kids.

  • It's an adorable video...and that dog is sweet...but not all Dobermans are this sweet. I'm not basing what I say on Hollywood films...I'm basing it on the fact that I was attacked by one when I was a child...and I still have the scars to remind me.

And before people assume I was doing something to the dog, save your breath...I was playing with friends in a park...I didn't even see the dog until it attacked.

Having said that...obviously the dogs owner didn't teach it not to be so aggressive!

  • @andell1 its not the dog, its bad owners or it needed a fresh start and to understand that humans are their best friends, just as dogs are humans' best friend. Perhaps it was abused by a child and neglected by its owner, but dogs are not savage. even ones in the wild have an unnatural nurturing nature to children and injured humans.

  • OMG look how vicous he is

  • wow!!

  • Dobermans are EVIL! The baby will get cancer and blah blah blah blah thumb down plz.

  • That was so tuochong

  • Beautiful girl. Cute baby! This is awesome. I was the same way when I was a baby, and my dobies were my best friends until they passed away. They are amazing kids dogs. They treated me like their puppy. It is pretty hard to make a Doberman mean... You would have to do something seriously wrong to make it mean towards its family. They are loyal family dogs and would protect their children tooth and nail.

  • Imagine that child just looking at a majestic animal like Sassy.

  • You know, why take a chance

  • @bullet836 Your right why take a chance when shooting a muslim, its all perfectly fine.

  • @skypers3 Wow... That was extremely uncalled for... Take your racism and shove it up your a**

  • Just one look in her eyes, it's obvious she'd never hurt any baby! You have a great dog, thanks for sharing!

  • Comment removed

  • Dobermans are extremely loyal animals. Very family orientated. You have a beautiful animal.

  • beautiful dog and daughter !!!

  • the dog thinks "wtf man?"

poza tym dziwne dziecko z dziwnymi, dlugimi konczynami

    mam nadzieje ze kapuje wiecej,

    ps. masz glos zboczenca

  • When I was a baby, my mum could leave me anywhere when we went shopping. Our two Dobermanns would go with us and lie down each side of my pram. I lost my 5th dobermann to illness two years ago and miss him so much

  • i dont like the floppy ears... they look better with pointy, but i guess its not nice to crop the ears tho....

  • u r very stupid sir

  • look at those eyes you can tell shes a girl (the dog) pretty eyes, she looks very content, bless me likes this allot x

  • I have a doberman too and she is so gentle aound babies. The only time she will get mean is when someone breaks into the house or if someone is hurting when of the family members.

  • the baby looks scary

  • The baby didn't blink for the longest time it looked so fascinated....actually ended up having a staring contest with the baby and my screen....baby won

  • i did the same. and i actually trust my dobbie more than people.... They are so loving and protective of children specially babies and toddlers...

  • yes they're not killing machines i have doberman he loves our family and protects our summer house ALL NIGHT ALONG!then, morning he sleeps:3 i love him SO MUCH he's not angry he just LOVES kids!everyone thinks that my dog is cute!don't think dobermans are evil they are very kind!

  • fucking idiot and imagine that the dog get scared and run away injuring the baby

  • How come his ears aren't cropped like most?

  • @TerminalSulcus most dogs mouths are cleaner than ours, and dogs do not carry human diseases.

  • super cute

  • Your baby's face is priceless! "You. Are. NOT. My. Mother!"

  • Nice to see you giving love to your dog after your baby is born. Often pets end up being neglected after a baby is born. Your baby clearly finds your dog fascinating too. Is your accent Scottish?

  • CUTE ! the baby's on the dog's paws !

  • che tenerezza!

  • Those that are complaining really don't know or understand dogs. This dog is a sweetheart.

  • i've own dobbies all my life, they are not vicious unless you don't know how to train them, but this demostration is really stupid, you are putting the life of your daughter in danger, you don't know how the mind of a dog works. let's put this way dobbies reacts very easy so im imagine anythig could have and your daugther could be bitten by the dog and have scars for all his life... think about it . I love dobies and i will have them in my future because i think are the most wonderfuill breed.

  • i have on dobie and its a very gentle dog , so beautiful video , thank you

  • ur very nice owner :D <3 video

  • When was very young living on Okinawa, a young family had two dobermans and a three month old daugher. The mom left the baby with the dogs in the backyard for two minutes while she went to the bathroom inside. When she came back out, the dogs ad torn the baby open and were fighting over the guts. I was maybe six or seven, but i remember how horrifying it was, and all us families had to take classes about animal safety and things. Still remember one lesson: Never FULLY trust an animal.

  • @gutstotake you're not supposed to leave a dog with a baby alone for any amount of time even if you do trust it. Things like what you just said have and will happen again in the future.

  • shiny coat

  • Videos like this, I love. very much. thank you for sharing this video of your beautifully trained dog.

  • I understand all these baby and big dog videos are trying to break the stereotype of certain dog breeds. But seriously, the parents of these children would feel pretty bad if one of these dogs bit the child. All in the name of trying to prove that these dogs are really sweet.

"No really they are! I can prove it! (dog bites kid's head off) AHHHHH!"

I wouldn't even put my infant this close to a cocker spaniel. My kids are too precious. Dangerous parenting right there.

  • @aannnneejj I agree. Clearly these people don't understand canine psychology. Dogs need to be taught to respect children and never, NEVER give a dog the height advantage. Particularly formidable breeds like dobermans. They're not nicknamed "MAN STOPPERS" for shits and giggles. I know the breed very well. I'm on my 4th dobe. Fortunately, they're very intelligent and easy to train, but this is still a very dangerous practice.

  • Yep Dobermans are killer dogs.

  • @matzchase and your fucking mother don't forget...

speak true based on things not stupid

  • @speed7119 Uh what? I guess sarcasm is not something you learned. I've been a doberman owner for 3 years and they are the sweetest dogs.

  • I have strange craving to yell out "leprechaun" and eat lucky charms!!!! Cute vid by the way. lol

  • @xlongyujax

    because hes northern English ?

  • after the dog was giving birth she(the dog) asked "is it a boy or a girl". the doctors says: it's a human :D

  • Former Dobey owner here...I trusted my dobey with my life and would trust her with my kids too

  • id be more concerned for the dumbass that tried to reach in and grab that baby from the dog (other than owner).

  • @KL437 Oh my gosh I totally agree with you!!!! Mine is SOOOOOOOO stinking protective of my neice!! They are the best babysitters EVER.

  • *Whimper, sniff sniff* Adorable. The so-called 'bully breeds' are actually the SWEETEST dogs. The little dogs called 'adorable' and 'harmless' are the REAL bastards in the canine world.

  • @ZooTycoon2Forever76

lol... That is a mean way to put it, but I agree completely.

  • We've had our friends bring a six-month old and toddler to the house with our Doberman, Evie. Evie immediately adopts this maternal kind of body language and attitude seen above. If she's in another room and a kid cries, Evie is there in a heart-beat. Sometimes she'll sit right next to the baby like above. The toddler can yank her ears and Evie just sits there. Evie WILL take the kids stuffed toy, but then she brings it back. They are GREAT family dogs.

  • I don't know this parent, baby, or dog. But being a dobey owner I can guarantee that this dobey would give its own life to protect that baby.

    Dobermans 4 life.

  • Sweet!

  • that dobie looks like it gets beat

  • ok i get your dog is well trained and not agressive, but your child is only six weeks old, your dog is powerful, what if it moved a leg or something an accidentally hurt your kid, you would be proved wrong, also if it got spooked for some reason, and finally its an animal, its insticts could take over, im an animal lover but i find this video irresponsible and pointless

  • Dobermen pinchers are not bad dogs they may look visous but they are loving animals like if you agree! Ive had a dobies since i was a baby and im ten now and nothing has ever happend to me! I used to sit on my dobie's back and he woudnt do a thing! Ther more of love then vishousnes! But this video was so cute!

  • i love her floppy ears :} very cute.

  • How sweet! What a gentle mama... She's being so careful not to move and disturb the baby. :)

  • Notice the man speaking in the video has a British accent. In England it's against the law to crop a doberman's ears; therefore, this doberman has long, floppy ears.

  • I think that should be the law everywhere. I am HIGHLY against cutting of the ears, tail, other parts and declawing. If you cut the ears you should DO IT TO YOURSELF. If you cut the tail you should DO IT TO YOUSELF (tailbone). If you neuter or spayed and animal you should DO IT TO YOUSELF. If you declaw you should DO IT TO YOUSELF. People are the real problem w/ the world.

  • @91noslenjc um, how the fuck do i neuter a dog?

  • @TheRealDJLO

Are you seriously asking me that? Like my mama told me w/ every question I had... Look it up.

  • @91noslenjc HUMANS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMALS ON EARTH. MUTILATING AN ANIMAL BY 'TRIMMING' THEIR EARS, CHOPPING OFF THEIR TAILS (THEY CAN NO LONGER WAG WITH HAPPINESS) , DE-CLAWING CATS (LIKE CUTTING OFF THE FIRST JOINT OF YOUR FINGERS) IS INEXCUSABLE. AND......... NEUTERING AND SPAYING IS EVEN MORE NECESSARY FOR THE HUMAN POPULATION WHICH HAS 'BRED' OUT OF CONTROL TO THE POINT THAT OUR EARTH IS FAST APPROACHING THE 7 BILLION MARK IN POPULATION.

  • @SueFromTheFarm i agree about everything except the tail....they only attach a rubber band around it when they are a couple days old and then it falls off no pain... trust me i got a great dane with her tail and its a freaking whip she almost broke my hand once when she was too happy so i took my doberman with no tail...its better when you have kids at home :)

  • I just had a baby, and I have a dobie myself. First week was hard, my doggy did not know what was going on. He peed and poked everywhere when we brought my baby home. It has been 2 weeks, and they are already best friends. At night my dobie is the first one up when the baby cries:)

    Love your video!!!!

  • your daughter is going to be very tall. XD i was a 10 pound baby and long too

  • tbh I wouldnt trust any dog with a new born baby, even the friendliest of dogs because they can be unpredictable, people only assume its worse for a doberman because they are so big and would probable do more damage than a smaller dog. But if you feel safe and trust your dog, then its up to you.. Very sweet video though

  • Dobermans are really sweet and lovely when raised in a loving home

  • what a sweet video!

  • is it that light, or what color are her eyes?

She's an adorable doberman, I love em, was around em all my life <3 ^__^

  • Dobermans are such cute dogs.

  • any dog is a good dog, it all depends on how the owner raises and trains them, there's no such thing as a vicious breed it's never the dog's who are at fault but the irresponsible owners who make them vicious.

  • i totally love thiz video it shows that Dobermans are great dogs, and that only bad & mean ppl make bad and cruel dags, i had 3 pits and 2 dobermans of myself and have had my baby sister and brother over playin wth them on the floor and they are just so carefull wth the babys, i love all dogs so ppl should really stop judging dogs teh wrong way!!!

  • i firmly believe that there are no bad dogs, just bad owners.

  • The dog looks sleepy. you are bugging him !!

  • Lovely dog. You can tell she's well loved by her owner.

  • This made me giddy as anything

  • threatening posture = over top of baby

calm posture = what you see there

jeeze people are dumb to think thats a vicious dog! XD

  • ...why are people surprised at this dogs' behavior?

After having six Dobermans in my life, I've yet to see one that would do anything contrary to a kids' safety. If anything, this dog is hoping that the human adult will not get upset for it being so close to a baby.

This is TYPICAL Doberman Pinscher behavior, people...they're not monsters, even if they've been demonized as such. It's the owners that give them bad reputations.

  • it's good his ears aren't cut! :)

  • soooo cute but also stupid!

  • The thing about dobermans that people don't know is that once you create a special bond with them, they are loyal til the end. My dog never lived with me, she was a guard dog at my dad's mechanic shop all her life, but even then, she was very loyal to me and to my family, of course she only listened to my dad and me, but she never once did anything to harm anyone unless she felt threatened by them. Dobermans are very very very loyal creatures by nature. Much more than humans

  • Dogs don't hurt people unless someone TEACHES them to do that. By nature, all dogs will protect a baby.

  • OMG WHAT KIND OF PARENT LEAVES THERE CHILD IN THE JAWS A VICOUS MAN EATER LIKE A DOBERMAN lol just kidding dobermans are such beautiful dogs

  • @MrGjordin LOL... I thought for one second!!!

  • @kochanieuk ha ha i grew up in a family with dobermans love them but live where the dog limit is under 12 in tall lol and a chiwawa doesnt cut it

  • @kochanieuk Beautiful Doberman, we have a five year old Dobie and i would readily trust her with my two younge children more than i would most people! Oda our wee Dobie can normally be found sleeping on the sofa with a child sitting on top of her, she has an amazing relationship with my kids and is a big part of the family, I love to see other familys who feel the same and portray the real personality of these dogs, I couldnt have another breed ;)

  • @MrGjordin they are good dogs but the way they look you looks so evil sometime xd

  • @MrGjordin ROFL!! You are SO right! Dobies are such wonderful dogs! And woe be unto some unexpecting, cracked-out knucklehead who would happen to break into that house some day, especially if the the Dobe and the baby were in the same room!

  • dogs are more loyal then humans so the 13 ppl that hate this need to jump off a bridge!!

  • ITS HOW YOU RAISE THEM YOU IGNORANT PHUCKERS!! ANY dog who is brought up abused and ignored will be a vicious dog, bitter at life and humans cause its humans that turned a loving dog's heart into something cold and bitter. ITS HUMANS WHO ARE DANGEROUS

  • JKMY4LIFE i agree everone thinks that dobermans are bad horrible mean dogs and they can be if you train them to be mean but if you train them to be GOOD NICE dogs then they will be loyal and protect your family

  • Why do people keep saying you have to train a Doberman not to harm the baby, no you do not!! You just have to bring your dog up in a nice and caring home, and your dog will turn into a nice and friendly animal, the same is said for humans, bring a child up in a violent and abusive home, and that child will grow into an adult that will harm others.

  • i don't know who is cuter!!!!!! :D have you train the dog at all, or you just put the baby there? do we have to train the dog before letting it near a baby? thank you! nice video!

  • Your dobe is such a good girl and such a mama :) I would trust my dobe with a newborn as well.

  • so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Obviously there's no danger a well trained supervised dog is fine with a baby.

  • If the later video from Nov 2008 is checked out, it's clear the dog is very comfortable with the child and totally relaxed. As is the baby with the dog.

  • anyone who touches that girl when sassy has her that is not her parents are screwed. When a female dog of doberman, pit, or Chow gets a strong attachment to a baby, they consider that baby a pup or litter mate. Either way, that baby is well protected. That dog would kill if needed to protect her.

  • thats too much risk!

  • the dog killed the baby 2 days later...true story

  • One real look at the doberman tells that it does not want to be in that position. It is just nervous with such a small baby around. Of course through training you can make some one do many things, but they may snap some time. For example, if I were your master, I can train you to stand on one leg whole day while holding and brooming my doberman. I am sure you would be pissed off and snap and drop the doberman, That is when I will have my doberman bite the ass out of you...

  • I miss my Fawn Doberman she was so affectionate, smart, and protective of the whole family. I agree it is how you train them and haters need to do some research on the breed. I look forward to raising another Doberman some day! Cheers love the video!

  • I couldnt agree more with your assessment of Dobermans. I have a red male doberman who circles our yard protecting the house. He even protects my cat from people. They are gentle giants who are loyal to their pack (family)

  • Aww she looks so motherly with the baby. This is so touching it makes me cry. God I love Dobermans!!

  • This is amazing. I'm sure these two will be best friends. :')

  • your baby has an guardian angel. <333

i love dobermanns. they are such sensitiv dogs.

AND TAILS ARE NO FASHION MISTAKE BY GOD!!! js

  • I myself have a dob. She's just like Sassy here, only blue. They are def. gentle giants! I also must say I'm a HUGE fan of her ears. I don't mind a docked tail because that is done before the bones fully form whereas the ears are like plastic surgery, if they're not being raised for show then I say keep the ears! Plus also your baby is precious!

  • Dobermans look sweet and kind without docked tails or cropped ears. I thought if getting one, but if I go to a breeder one poor, inocent abused dog or cat, will diewithout the care I could be giving them. I can't wait to be a vet and run my own animal paradise.I'm gonna make a difference. Remember my name Youtube: Kavi.

  • The dog is thinking.. ''Shut the hell up'' Evil eyes :D

  • lol she is like Yes I will protect her now get this strange thing off me. Notice when he says "lets get her off ya" her ears perk a little , lol . Perfect dog.

  • we have a dobie/shepherd mix and she will attack people when they come into our house with hugs and kisses. but if a strangers walk by she is scary ;)... perfect. we have a pure bred shepherd and I feel my daughters are safe with these two around.

  • Dobermans aren't killers. They are guardians of the things they love. Very cute!

  • Dobe: [sniff sniff] it hasn't pooped yet.

Baby: You, my furry friend, are not mah daddy.

  • I am glad that most comments actually approve of this. I have a Doberman and a baby on the way, I would pretty much trust the baby's life with the doberman as soon as he gets the first smell of the babies head. They are the most protective, caring, dogs imaginable. Highly intelligent and puts the family first for protection. Unless the family is in danger they are little teddy bears, and not the killing machines that movies make them out to be

  • the dog seems cross-eyed...i swear...lol

  • the dog looks annoyed.

  • such a groegeous moment well done :)

  • Sir, your daughter seems captivated by the large canine. :D

  • When my daughter was born we bought her home and our doberman Isla had a sniff and licked her head, they where best of friends, and the dog never raised as much as a lip to her. Dobermans are great family dogs, very l;oyal and will protect you.

  • The media has giving dogs such a bad rep, all you idiots really need to do your research about any and every kind of dog. Shut up and enjoy the video.

  • The baby is like "what in the hell am I looking at right now??? O.O hahahaha! The baby looks very cute staring at the dog with his/her curious and confused eyes thinking "damn!! this thing is huge!!!" Dobies are the best!!!!

  • My Doberman did the same with my friend's six month old infant. We put the child on the floor, and Evie (the Doberman) acted in much the same way.

  • Thank you for not cropping your dogs ear.

  • how precious (both of them :P ). my doberman mix is just as sweet. I love them so much!

  • FUCK ALL YOU HATERS ! Dobermans Are Good Good DOGS & Will PROTECT Their MASTERS & Their FAMILY ! So Please GET YOU FUCKIN FACTS STRAIGHT Before Saying The Baby's Gonna Die & ALL THAT BULL SHIT ! if The DOG ISNT TRAINED Then HELL YEAH THE BABYS Gonna DIE , But i Know These OWNERS Trained The DOG So Please Shut The Fuck Up & Just Enjoy The Damn Video . Oh And P.s. i LOVEE THE VIDEO (:

  • @JKMY4LIFE LOL... Agreed!

  • @JKMY4LIFE amen

  • @JKMY4LIFE Agree and even if a dog is not trained, he can still be nice to his owners. A dog doesnt have to know the commands like sit and down to be nice to a baby. Dogs also have instincts, they know they have to be kind to a baby. You can see how a dog reacts to a grown up or a baby, its completely different. With a grown up he will be a little bit more rough, but not with baby's.

  • @JKMY4LIFE i have a dobe 2 i love him he watch me every step he care about my familly and children <3 beautifull ''dogs'' - awesome characters!

  • @JKMY4LIFE the baby will die

  • @MostolesTube You have no idea about what is happening. The dog is showing a maternal posture, not an agressive one.

  • Dobies make great babysitters!

  • omg

  • @ ttxccam- well just because you have seen the BAD side of what a dog can be on the news and such, of course you're going to be scared. People aren't going to show you a loving pit bull or rottweiler sitting with a baby and they baby is bugging the crap outta the dog and they just sit there and take it. dogs have more patience than you will ever understand. instead of blaming a breed for your lack of ignorance, EDUCATE yourself. Watch videos on here to witness with your own eyes their love.

  • @ kochanieuk i believe that's what i just said in my post? but thank you for backing me up. i have to pits myself, and i have had a doberman. all are very sweet and loving dogs. it's people who own the dogs and how they treat them is what makes them mean. the dog isn't naturally mean. there has to be a reason to bring out that aggression that is deeply hidden inside a dog's brain.

  • to whomever said its pitbulls you should worry about, you are SADLY mistaken. It's not the dogs fault, it's the owners fault. Its PEOPLE who give pits bad names, not the dog itself. And for you to say so is absolutely ignorant.

  • @xosaraaxo If a dog attacks a human, then it is never the dogs fault. The owner has allowed the dog to do it in the past. The dog is never at fault - its the owner. But sadly it is the breed that gets the blame. Ban the owners not the dogs!!!

  • @kochanieuk Your right, the owner doesn't take the precautions to ensure the good also loves the baby.

Does neutering the dog help as well?

  • @kochanieuk Bullshit you stupid cunt. Dogs aren't human nor do they have human emotions it's fucking dangerous to have babies this close to dogs. Full stop.

  • @kimmois1 Fuck you. YOU don't have human emotions.

  • I think you're wonderful, and so's sassy. she looks adorable without docked ears. :) wish more people would leave their dobey's ears alone!!

  • amazing,my dobbie used to be the same with my lttle boy, noone ever could have hurt him when she was there

  • I wish people over here in America would leave their dogs' ears uncropped like Sassy's.

  • dog is like "i am.. so over this"

  • it's pitbulls not dobermans that people should worry about

  • @TXCCAM Actually, It's the owner people should worry about, not the dogs. Bad owner equals bad dog. Good owner equals good dog. The way a dog behaves as an adult is directly due to how it was raised, just like people.

  • @diseasicon pitbulls still scare the crud outa me

  • @diseasicon I agree totally. It is always the owner's fault (or a previous owner, or... you get it), however, I have to agree a little with TXCCAM, you should be a little vary around those dogs, because I can imagine a lot of bad people getting them so they can be intimidating/show off or something just because of their reputation.

That said, you should be at least a little vary of any dog you meet until you have verified that it isn't dangerous

  • @TXCCAM Its the owner...not the dogs. Pitbulls are fine. All untrained dogs have the potential to hurt people and other dogs and animals.

Get your facts straight, no wait just please dont breed. People who say crap like this shouldnt be allowed to breed themselves.

  • aww my names sophie too =)

  • soo cute people always think mean looking dogs like rottweilers, pitbulls, and dobermanns are vicious killing machines but they're not!My baby Max(pitbull)is the sweetest thing in the world well except to other animals unfortunately becuz of his previous owners but he would protect any little kid he loves them.and when i was like five me,my dad,and my old shit zu god bless his soul, went to the vets and there was a mean looking rotty and i just went right up to it and pet it and he didn't bite me!

  • u can tell dat dog luvs dat baby

  • thats pretty irrisponsible.

  • @criminal10dinc you know nothing about the dog. You cannot know.

  • @youvebeenflamed1 but i do kno that a few week old babys health and well being shouldn't be left to BEHAVIOR OF A DOG...

  • @criminal10dinc you would be surprised how loving a doberman is, i have one and he is 12 years old, and my Labrador bashes him up lol they have a very gentle heart. they are only violent when they feel that there family is in danger.

  • @criminal10dinc how so? You would be suprised how gentle dobies are. They are like children. I worked at PetSmart and the only time I got bitten was with a small dog. With dobies I could hardley get near them to bathe then w/out getting licked to death.

  • @kwatson813 dobies lovesï»
