I grew up with the awful anime and its awful English (well Micron Legend is an exception), and yet I get a special feeling watching this. I didn't even grow up in the 80s, nor was alive in those times. This series is very epic. I don't need to watch it in Japanese, the plot is robots joining armies and having wars with each other.
