GTA4= more realistic -ex: better graphics instead of "cartoon style" and more realistic missions. Better online, doesnt even compare.

GTA = greater emphasis on realism, Scorsese type storytelling

GTAIV was outsold by SR2... mainly because no one wanted gang realism (Which is why San Andres didnt do as well as other GTA games) Issue with Gang Realism is... you come to hate the main character you are playing.

Me too! I bought this game at the same time as GTAIV back in Jan and at first I honestl didn't get it - but it's not going for realism like IV or even San Andreas

its horrible. enamie cars just spawn randomly and trie to kil not only you but other enemies the hookers before you even recrute them and exetera. the hooker ai is dum becouse fro some reason they take like 5 second to go to the car and get and soemtimes going areound to the other side even thoe the cr is empty(with the exeption of your charecter) and the most anoying is solveble. the hookers dont shut up. i had to mute my tv to play it. muteing tv while playing games sucks.

I never said story meant realism, I said Grand Theft Auto IV was more about the story and realism and Saints Row 2 was all about having fun rather than story and realism.
