I got a idea. Go to control Panel and click Device manager. Click Sound,video and game controllers. Right click the device and click... Look for hardware and click Hd audio. There you go. Sound is back. Works only for Xp :D

iv heard of a trick where people on xp will thell it to un install on the driver then after this turn off the pc then after its off turn it back on then the windows will detech hard ware then install the divers back if not you got to go on line to get wht it needs butt some time they make it to where you got to buy the driver this wht it like on my em pc all i do is down load the driver than bam i got sound

@Hellwreck210 right click on small volume icon on your taskbar o nright side, go to properties and then go to volume and put all up on maximumand boom it should work!
