  • Though I'm Japanese, I've never seen, heard a Japanese who has a strange name... 'Ensei Tankado'. Ensei Tankado???

  • as for the reviewer, stop being such a condescending prick. the book is in no way a hard nut to crack; the simplistic structure and constant hand-holding would allow a 10 year old to follow with ease

  • a classic case of nice idea, shame about the execution

i was cringing at brown's terrible writing from the get-go; amateurish, junior-high standard tripe

for a character with an iq of 170, susan sure was a dumb bint

i also hated that brown didn't even try to approach the theme he hinted at with a sledgehammer: "who watches the watchmen". instead, we literally got susan hearing that statement and saying "ABLOOBLOOBLOO I CANT HEAR U IM NOT LISTENING LOLZZZ"

it is what it is, a dumb lazy yarn

  • I totally agree

  • Great Read, Highly recommend this book if you like a good thrill and romance and intelligence and humour. You will love the chase. And the conclusion. And the characters. And you will be so overwhelmed with how good this book is you will buy every single book Dan Brown has every written.

  • Also it was an intelligent book. My mind was filled with new ideas about how our government is spying on us. The NSA corp. could be seen as a bad corp. but then again they have save lives from spying on terrorists and criminals and finding out about bombs and such. It got me to think in two different sides. Sure the privacy is of opening emails is a factor but it saves lives, but then again who guards the guards? I wasn't sure at first who i should be rooting for Tankado or Strathmore...

  • This book deserves 6 out of 5 stars. How could you say it's not page turning? It's a thriller i couldn't put the book down even if i wanted to. I read it in 3 days it was so good. The suspense of the assassin with the wire-rim glasses and the romance between Susuan Fletcher and David Becker was killing me. My favourite chapters were the adventures Becker had to go through to get this ring. I loved the conclusion. I was really worried when i thought Becker had died i was almost in tears.

  • cool story bro!

  • This is Dan Brown's first book. Did he mention that?

  • I did like it but I got it on Audio CD.

  • This was the most boring, un-prepared for, and un-professional book review I have ever seen. I aint no techie and I followed the story without hassle. Did you even read this book or did you just flick through a few pages and pull some names and events out. Stick to eating pies old son.

  • I enjoyed reading this book, it has a lot of interesting info and its very exciting to read it. Totally recommend it.

  • This book is exemplary and if you don't like reading then you can get it from your local library as a audio book but make sure you get the Unabridged one.

WithOut Wax H,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Happy sailing my friends.

  • @UBUBBOO I got this book off itunes. Loved it. Whats the difference between abridged and unabridged? Thanks.

  • @KillerBeeGuts

    Unabriged is the complete story..

    WithOut Wax Happy sailing buddy.

  • This book is for anyone who likes good thrillers, techie or not.

  • I liked it, but the problem with being in IT is the "that's not right" and "why don't you just do this" stuff going through your head. If you can silence that type of thinking and go with the flow, it's not bad.

  • I quite enjoyed it and I agree only a techy would understand, i do software design so i got it lol but over all id say 3.5 stars of 4 cause i really liked it.

    Without wax

    David....Lol

  • what I did not like was the chase of David Becker and Hulohot. It became more unrealistic with every page. I mean, this assassin kills everyone at first attempt, and an average teacher manages to get away again and again?

  • @mcr89x dont that happen in nearly every story

  • @Wanted797 yeah, but I think that an author has to be consequent sometimes. That means, that he also has to let a character die (sometimes), to not get incredulous.

  • im by no means a techie but everyone should know that you can get through the jargon, and dan explains it well enough that the technical aspect of the book does not deter from the excitement of the plot. The thing i liked about this book was that there really wasn't a clear good or bad guy save for the man with rimmed glasses...lol

  • I read it and i loved it!! Read all of his including The Lost Symbol. I recommend that one better than Angels & Demons

  • just finished this book today. picked it up 3 days ago and couldnt put it down. its exciting to say the least

  • Thanks for the review! I was thinking of picking it up, but wasn't completely sure. Will read though, sounds interesting.

  • i understood everythin?

  • This book was awesome. Nice vid

  • im not a techie but I still looooved it! the book is totally his style so it was kinda predictable but still awesome hehe

havent read deception point yet but until now its digital fortress > angels&demons > da vinci code.

  • Looks like a good one
