  • My life would be complete if I witnessed this, such beautiful animals! I've never seen them in a group this big!

  • You are so lucky! been roaming mountainsa and never seen one. Found tracks in L.A. forest and pine Mtn up in Frazier but no sightings yet.

  • @puddlejumper98 ur a asshole

  • Mom with her cubs, they will soon start travelling alone.

  • Wow ,old mom gotta do alot of hunting to keep them all fed.Better hope alot of wild game around to keep them fed

  • Should have shot them all! Not rare these beast are takeing over!

  • @puddlejumper98 There are probably less lions in the entire state than in the smallest town in your state. Not really taking over...

  • @the2step *people in the smallest town

  • @puddlejumper98 People are the ones taking over dip shit.

  • next time try say: here kitty kitty kitty.. and see what happen...

  • Ah ah ah! 4 Mountain lions!

  • mutant cats...

  • i unfortunately just heard of a big one being killed idaho springs.. such a shame. heard it had 10 dog collars in its stomach or something..

  • LoL ! ... I guess you can call off the search for your lost Pomeranian, now. (arf !, arf! ... chomp).

  • that is so great a mom lion with 3 cubs is so rare ...usually survive one .. will be a great if they stay alive .. to close of the civilization is so danger for them . a Crazy ass hunter will shot them with out think twice ..

  • Vey cool. Except the music

  • i love cats they are my favourite animals..... i would run outside to see them

  • I live in Calgary, Alberta, a city of over a million people, these big cats come right into the city, they walk down our street and i have seen their tracks in the snow on our driveway, we live near a wooded area on the west side of town...but I would NOT go walking near the bushes here after dark without my doberman pinscher, ever...

  • What a rare treat. I would've been in heaven video taping that.

  • stay in your home, before you become cat food

  • What a rare treat. Most people in lion country never see one, but four at once! Probably one of their last times out with mom before they strike out on their own.

  • Awesome, lucky you!

  • wow id open up the window and let em have my 270 win. fuck those deer killers.

  • @wakemnstackem1 i kill deer because they eat plants i like plants. why gives u the right to like deer over the welfare of mountain lions or any other living creature ?? ur full of geordie waff ya bullshitter

  • So cool

  • Cool

  • Mountain lions like all predators are opportunistic. So if a sickly deer wonder in it's path it will kill it. Notice the lions are area frequented by people.......meaning those cats are losing or have lost their fear of man.

Which actually puts man or small child on their menu.

  • "HANK GET THE 12 GAUGE "

  • cougars don't even look like a threat if only one, they just look like cute little kitties

  • There such beautiful animals I think it should be illegal to hunt them.

  • @nywarlord87 its illegal in california, although maybe it shouldnt be considering they are known to kill pets

    Whoo!

  • Hi, Mr. G! Yep, I see you're THE Mr. G. Class of '78 also. Never got to be one of your students, but it's good to know you're still looking after The Lake. And that you're a damn fine cameraman in a tricky shoot.

  • Hi! You wouldn't happen to be the Vic Garcia that taught at Lewis Palmer, would you? btw, BEAUTIFUL little film of those big cats.

  • that is so rare and amazing to see these elusive creatures.. especially with kittens.. and don't worry as long as there are deer in the area the cougars literally won't go after anything else

  • @thewildview - so right - we have not seen them since.

they did hit a deer during the night.

Colorado Dept of Wildlife has put radio transmitters on these beauties and they roam over 200 miles.

From Cheyenne down to Colorado Springs.

    Thanks for the positive comment.

  • @thewildview No hard feeling but i have to slightly disagree with that becasue a cougar wil in fact go after other things such as humans if it feels threatened.... I just joined the Department of Fish and Game and Mountain Lions were one of the first things we were taught, but it is indeed rare to see them with the kittens....

  • Stupid fools...let's let all the pretty kitty cats live. Maybe next time they pay you a visit, i hope you're not washing your car or playing 1 on 1 with your children. So while they are attacking your family yell out...protect the pretty mountain lions instead of HONEY, GET THE RIFLE!

  • @RightieUntilDeath Mountain lions are scared of humans....

  • Protect your mountain lions?! Maybe they'll pay you a visit the next time you're washing you car or playing a little one on one with your kids. While they are chewing on your head I hope your last words are....protect the mountain lions. Stupid fools.

  • just going for a nice family walk

  • I would be on my roof top with my sniper riffle lol.

  • Quik ethel ...get me the shotgun!

  • so awesome

  • WOW, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY, you are so lucky to see this, they are so elusive!, american people protect your moutain lions, they are awesome and beautiful cats!!...

  • they are moving into OHIO! OH NO!

  • mama and cubs?

  • Saw one last summer...probably one of these...near my home off of Dirty Woman Creek in Monument. Now I know why my horse goes ballistic some nights.

  • at 0:29 when u zoomed out from the last in the line mountain lion i thought the rock was the flesh eating monster from space chimps, goddamn i got to lay off those LSD cookies, but they're so good.

  • Mr. Garcia, great video. Those are great shots. Make sure you and Dr. Garcia stay safe :) Also tell her hi from me.

This reminds me when that black bear was in my grandma's yard back when the Hayman fire was spreading close. It's always cool to see wildlife, especially in CO.

  • Thank you for sharing this ... heart warming and very very special.

  • Amazing video coverage and footage! YOU HAVE JUST GOT TO LOVE PALMER LAKE! Amazing place, and amazing people.... LOTS of LOVE to both you and Gennie from the Weaver gang! ;)

    ~Jeri~

  • Thanks Jeri,

Appreciate you just signing up to respond.

I will also respond with a private email.

  • Hi Mr. Garcia!

This is Kristi D., an old student of yours as well. Class of '99. Your videos have made it all the way to Alaska where I have shared them with my in-laws and friends. Makes me miss WKLP :)

  • Hi Kristi,

Could not figure out and then looked in the yearbook - wow, I was surprised and that you joined and responded. Are you in Alaska also? I am sure you would not miss the LPHS of 2010 - it is a mess. I miss the students!

  • now, control yourself ;-)

  • @Rusty350 oh shut up

  • @monibibsm23 Why don't you kiss where the sun don't shine.

  • Great to see the two young mountain lions as it provides hope for the recovery of the species. Humans build out in the countryside but then want to have their house cats roaming free and destroying the wild bird life - hopefully these mountain lions are helping to restore the balance in their territory at least.

  • @bwstuber

Agree - we have moved into their environment.

There is a need to protect them and other native wild species. THANKS!

  • that's mama and bebitos :)

  • Hi Mr. G!!! I'm an old student from graduating class of 1978 - your favorite, only because you had to deal with my two brothers (Paul and John Bishop)! Great video!

  • @usakiwis1

    OMG, The Bishops are back!

I do remember and appreciate your note and thoughts. Pl;ease say HELLO to all.

    Got lucky this time.

    Thanks!

  • what a beautiful sight! how lucky tou are!

  • Rare sighting, u're lucky

  • Great video!!! I have lived in Palmer Lake for 12 years and have heard reports of sightings, but have never seen one. What a gift to be able to see them like this.

Our friends are your next door neighbors. They had told us about seeing the prints in the snow a week ago. They sent the video to us. Wow!!!

  • Hi! This is your former student Meryl (Lynn's daughter). Great video; I've never even seen one, let alone four at once! Hope you two are doing well.

  • Hi Meryl, Thank you and I hope all is well with you. Gennie says HI to you and your Mom.

  • Great Video!!! My brother and his wife live in the neighborhood!
