It is ridiculous that he puts guys in nightmare positions. Not just bad positions, nightmare positions. Trapping both arms with his legs at 3:15 is just ridiculous. One arm guillotines and RNC's? Are you kidding me?

It looks like guys shouldn't tap to those chokes but it's like he has mind control that makes guys tap.

I actually know and train with the guy rolling with Marcelo in the beginning of the video. His name's Pete Roberts, and he owns the Origin brand (which can be seen on his rash guard) and BJJ Weekly. He mentioned the other day that his arm is still tweaked to this day from an arm lock Marcelo caught him with, but it wasn't shown in this video. Awesome HL though!

@BHopEx42 yea it was a quick inverted armbar from open guard I believe...I chopped up this video kinda quickly and rushed it on youtube so I skipped over that submission; sad to hear that pete's arm is still injured from it...marcelo is quick & devestating, trust me I know from personal experience. Hope Mr. Roberts recovers that arm in the near future he seems to be on his way to obtaining his black belt within the next few years. Thanks for watching & commenting:)

@NaledgeDIESEL Yeah Pete is still able to train, he just made sure the guy he was rolling with (who is a top level black belt competitor) knew about it before they started. Pete is an outstanding jiu-jitsu guy, he received his brown belt a little while ago and deservedly so.

His purple belt was torn and tattered as hell, the true mark of a mat rat lol.

@Nalege, nice edit btw. And I'm going to reverse engineer alot of these bits. His transitions are things of beauty. 5 and 6 moves ahead at all times. I can only pray that my Jitz game gets HALF as good as his.
