  • My Mum requested that this song be played at her funeral, and it was, it bought every one to tears, I remember when I was younger watching my Mum dance to this song with my Dad. This song has both bad and good memories, I have now lost both my parents and when I think about how they used to dance to this song, I like to think that is what they are doing now. I miss them both terribly.

  • thank you god bless all of you

  • Thanks... Love this song. Popular when I was a kid. Bought the record (still have it). Remember watching it spin on the turntable & pouring out the speakers. Clean version here. Audio is INCREDIBLE considering digitally remasted from original tapes...but, has lost some of it's depth in the process. Video is only so-so. There are better video versions on this site. Still this is a great song/artist/recording! Enjoy!

  • this song was playing when i was born ;; first sing i remember listening too ;; <:}

    Thx for sending!!

  • Yes, wonderful slideshow and wonderful song.

    Thanks Judie for sent it me.

  • My friends we praying for me. One of my friends, HB, had the impression that GOD was singing this song and MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU over me. PRAISE THE LORD! At the same time, another friend, Anne, sang "HE IS HERE" to reassure us of GOD's presence and love. This truly reflects what was written in Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save, He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." PRAISE THE LORD!

    I am not sure who charted it but the song was written by Albert E.Brumley in 1937. Springtime Echos according to the gospel hymanal.

  • ahh i keep coming back here for the words? loved this song in the 60's. is this a country, gospel or religious song? never figured it out? if it's "christian" it should be in hymnals, but i haven't found it there?
