I have a cottage/cabin on a small lake located a few miles north of Troy Tennessee. I fish Reelfoot every time we are back that way. My father-in-Law fishes the lake every chance he gets and that is a lot. We love both crappy and cast fish fishing. I am not a bass fisherman since I don't think it is right to hunt or fish for anything that I do not plan to eat. The duck hunting is good this year too on the north end of the lake. My parents used to go to the old Lake Club many years ago, it burnt
In southeast kansas we have a lake that would make those bluegill look like minnows, They are 10 inches we call them monster blue gill. and you can catch dozens.
what type of boat were yall fishing in? Nice gill also, I looking forward to getting up there during spring for some nice slabs and if I can squeese em in bullgills...
@kylejc21 Reelfoot Lake is an amazing bass fishing lake. There are some huge lunkers in there and they are fairly easy to catch. If you ever go there you have go to go slow in your boat. There are so many stump fields in that lake it will wreck your prop.
bream is a term used to refer to bluegill and shellcracker and redbellies and any other sunfish... a bluegill is a specific species commonly called a bream.
nice fishing

Is there a difference between a "bream" and a Bluegill? Is it a bluegill if it has that blue-ish color on part of its gill? Someone please respond
