riverside has the worst airshows.mafb used to have descent ones but they're crap too.all the best shows are overseas

The Four Squadron of F-4 Phantoms and F-101 Voodoos were memorable classics at Air Shows. So were watching the Four Squadron of F-14 Tomcats at the Oceana Air Show one time.I really miss all these Aircraft as well as the RAF Vulcan,RAF Concorde,SR-71 Blackbird,F-111 Aardvark flame thrower,and Super Sabres. These Aircraft stole the Air Shows shattering silence with their earthquake sound. The ground really shook when these Aircraft did their close up over the spectators heads flying display.

Man that wind is out ruin this years SoCal's airshows! First El Centro, now Riverside, hope March ARB is nice and clam!

So this is why we (at Yuma) saw the Phantom do his thing and with the heritage flight so early in the show then he departed then later the F-16

Too bad it was soo damn windy yesturday. I believe the Phantom stole that show. I'm looking forward to a better one next year!

I'd like to see a near-stall flyby of an F-4 once more in my life.

The sound of the twin J-79's howling is not to be believed.
