@xFriiCTioN In the beginning it does not make a huge difference. As you get better and better I would recommend trying different strings just to see how you like them. There is a difference, but really it is just a matter of preference. In general, if you like the color I would start there.
@kaylay623 Yes, any bearing change can affect play, especially a concave or center trac bearing. That being said, not every yoyo (or even most) plays better with a concave bearing. Most high end yoyos these days are made so well a concave bearing is not necessary to improve play. Still, a lot of yoyoers I know prefer them... perhaps its a matter of taste.
I forgot to buy the Luminator basic kit so i just got the luminator but i want to know if the weight rings really effect the spin and if so for how many more seconds does it help it spin for
@xFriiCTioN More important than the spin time the weight rings make the yoyo more stable so that it is easier to control, especially when doing string tricks. The weight rings may help it sleep up to 25% longer, but the real improvement is in the control you have over the yoyo. If I were you I would play with the Luminator as it comes and if you like it and need to place another order (for strings or a different yoyo) order the weight rings then.
@xFriiCTioN Most orders arrive in less than a week, although the mail does not run Monday so it might take longer. I would not be surprised if you get it Friday or Saturday, though.
Okay so I got the luminator unresponsive kit, replaced the brake pads with the clear ones and replaced the bearing with a cleaned one and it became unresponsive. Then after about ten throws it became responsive. I unscrewed the yo yo took out the string, put it right back on, rescrewed the yoyo and now it is back to unresponsive. What in the world happended?
@TheCam432 If the string has a lot of tension it can make an unresponsive yoyo responsive. When you took the string off it is possible it got all the tension out so that the yoyo played unresponsive again. Also, sometimes bearings need to be broken in, so if you find the bearing playing uneven this should work itself out over time.
@yotricks ive been thinking again. i had to either choose chaser by yoyojam or northstar by yoyofactory. what would you reccommend? please reply. thanks
@kaylay623 I have not thrown a lot of yoyo jam yoyos that I have really enjoyed playing with (any in fact), but I have played with the Northstar and it is one of my all time favorites. The Chaser may be a fine yoyo, but I would find the Northstar hard to beat.
@yotricks Thanks for the info and do you sell your yoyos in other currrency's like pounds because I live in Britain and I was planning to order the Luminator but it was $8.00 not £8.00
@omar2sleekshafiq Send us an email through the contact page on YoTricks and include what you would like to order and the name of the city where you live. I will calculate the cost of the item and the cost of shipping and get back to you with the total and instructions on how you can place an order if you like.
@omar2sleekshafiq The Duncan Bumblebee is not a yoyo that should require binding. Because it is a thinner yoyo it will cause you all sorts of problems if you are trying to learn to bind with it. It is best to learn to bind on a wide yoyo. Also, if your bumblebee is not coming back up when you tug on the string you should lube the bearing instead of using a bind to get it to return.
When I bind my Yoyo the string inside just gets tangled up and sometimes it just comes back up automatically when I don't even move my throw hand to get it back up.
@MsGamerallday Send us an email through the contact page on YoTricks and include the name and email address you used to purchase the yoyo so I can look up the order and help you out. (There is no way for me to tell who you are using just your YouTube username. :)
