We usually attach some long, brightly colored pieces of ribbon or yarn to our remotes. When we can't find it, it's much easier to look for a bright piece of red ribbon than for a thin, black remote!

I went to Walgreens about a year ago and bought a universal remote that is the size of my head for that exact reason. I haven't lost it yet and it it works for everything I've got. What's more, it only cost me ten bucks. A good investment if you ask me.

i hate it when i can't find the remote, but what's worse is when i find the wrong one, i've got too many remotes lol. it's terrible when you're building stuff too, when i used to work at sears i would always have to assemble things in the warehouse, and if a single screw gets dropped it's usually lost forever. only other alternative is to sift through a bottomless bucket of greasy nails and screws and washers for half an hour trying to find a replacement.

Parks and Recreation (unless it improves a lot, it's doomed to be canceled,)

Southland (I gave the first two shows a try, but the erratic camera work made me too dizzy to continue.)

There is a remote/left sock/nail/car keys vortex that sucks things from our universe and deposits them into the "other" universe. Maybe in that universe, the laws of physics prevent them from producing such things. We think they are silly for not having any left socks, they think we're silly for not having flying cars. It all balances out.
