  • i like how the guy in the back says "WHATTTTTT" and then he says madonna ~,~

  • its funny in a good badway

  • ...and thaaaaaaaaaat's my life!

  • What's do you get when you mix Sir Elton John and a saber tooth tiger?

  • Hes clearing his throat so many times because he's choking on one of Madonna's pubic hairs.

  • That shtick got incredibly old very quickly

  • This is a song called the History of Tenacious D !

  • @radyentreme98 Still trying to get some losers to thumbs up ya here too? Your a dick

  • @dooalittledippsy If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!

  • If the crowd are into it, it just becomes a kids show... but then... what's wrong with that?

  • I don't understand how this is funny

  • Neil clears his throat 35 times in this video. Freakin hilarious

  • Laughing and applauding are the most disrespectful things you can do when Neil Hamburger is performing. His act calls for one of two reactions: appalled silence or slightly bored hostility.

  • If it wasnt for Tenacious D I wouldnt have ever heard of this guy, i love him

  • Awesome... Pick Of Destiny!

  • How about everyone stop bitching. Everyone should be allowed to give their opinion. I like neil hamburger,if you dont fine. I would like to know about comedians you DO like. We as people should be able to give our opinion without having everyone calling you stupid. Just relax everyone...

  • I love how he doesn't tell any jokes for the first three and a half minutes but its hilarious.

  • "How's everybody-" CLUNK!

I needed a change of underwear at that part.

  • Awesome! Let's get the party started!

  • i love how he points to the stage and quietly says "security." so funny.

  • yeah, John shuttleworth does this type of shtick, only it's actually funny. Coughing repeatedly and saying the same line over and over for 3 1/2 minutes is just cheap humour. The joke was quite good though, at the end.

  • hamburger to warheim: YOU RAPIST

warheim: i don't appreciate being called a rapist

    hamburger: THEN DON'T RAPE!

  • Ok, so where's the funny bit? He didn't actually say anything funny at all, isn't that what comedy is? he's fucking annoying and this 'character' he's playing is shit.

Coughing over and over and over and over is NOT comedy.

  • @MisterKiyoshi

    Thank about maaaannnnn...

comedy, real? real comedy? charted electromagnetic scope and third eyes and shiiittt.

  • @MisterKiyoshi It's funny when people like you get mad. Comedy

  • Saw this man open up for Tim & Eric in chicago a couple of days ago. His act was vulgar, insulting, mad, bad and probably the greatest show i've ever been to.

  • Can I catch what he has through youtube? I'm starting to fear I can.

  • @leeg131313

Actually it's far superior to yours. I'm guessing British? Probably think that Monty Python is the magnum opus of comedy hmm? I'm not at all surprised if this is the case. And apparently you aren't really educated in the study of comedy. This is called anti comedy. It's supposed to be awful and ridiculous. It's purpose is to cause you to laugh like any other form. So there is no "funniest" genre of comedy. It's all a matter if opinion. I happen to like Tim and Eric while maybe you'

  • @MisterWordman I know that it is Anti-comedy, but the fact the anti comedy is so over-the-top done and he puts too much effort in beeing so " unfunny to be funny" that it actually simply stays unfunny. IMO the concept isn't impossible but he doesen't really pull it off. Doesen't appeal to me anyway, but thats just opinions, opinions....

  • @Theinsaneviking

If you're looking at it as "so unfunny it's funny," you're missing the point. Anybody can be unfunny. Not everybody can do a character act so well. It's not that he's unfunny -- it's that he's bitter, hateful, small-minded, and a relic of a bygone era forced to perform for audiences he [the character] clearly despises. He keeps doing comedy in some outmoded form because it's all he's good at, and he's not even that good at it. That's a hilarious character bit.

  • what a waste of 3:51 seconds of my life.

  • saw this guy totally die at Reading this year. I couldn't tell if he was serious. gotta give him credit for the one joke "why did michael jackson dangle his child from the hotel balcony? because he wouldn't finish his plate of sperm"

  • Very funny, the spitting and coughing schtick does remind me of Sir Les Patterson though.

  • I love this guy.

  • 4 minutes of him coughing? Yeah, sooo funny right?

  • @GravityRides Guess you don't get it.

  • @c0mbineelite What is there to get then? : /

  • "anyone who doesn't get this is an idiot"

people must feel pretty cool to 'understand' comedy...

this is standup for the pretentious

  • @graywolfish Untrue. He's just way funnier live.

  • Yeah... Aussies do get this kind of thing more than most people.

  • Neil Hamburger is brilliant. Of course he's not quite as original as people think -- put on comedy has roots that go back a ways. Still... he is brilliant.

  • He is so smart, he realises his act is better when the crowd is not into it and he realises the aussie crowd 'gets it' too much so he keeps repeating himself here in the intro to make crowd get a bit bored. Genius.

  • i bet that guy get soo much pussy. if i had a pussy i would totally give it to him and let him hock his lugy right into it.

  • Neil Hamburger Rules!!

  • How is Neil Hamburger, looking the way he does, hacking up something, spitting into a glass and then saying, "Let's get this party started!" not hilarious? If you don't get it folks, you're the weird ones.

  • I'm guessing that if it's not on Comedy Central, you don't considerate "real comedy", correct?

  • @Taktwo2 not really just did not find this funny i have right to my opinion and i just dont find it funny

  • some of you people are so fucking stupid. neil's jokes aren't supposed to be terribly funny. the jokes aren't the joke. NEIL HAMBURGER is the joke. how do you NOT understand that?

  • your face got stupid within the first 5 letters.

  • i didn't even crack one

  • I watched this in the library and I could not stop laughing

  • Comment removed

  • Wow his techniques are outstanding, this guy has inspired me a lot in my life and maybe some day i will fullfill my dreams and be able to cough on stage just like him.

  • haha your dumb as shit hahah!

  • if you'll look up you'll see the joke flying over your head

  • k so this is anti american comedy. its still not funny. and if i dont get it its because i live in sweden were we dont have that kind of boring comedy to make fun of.

  • if you don't get it, you're a dumbass. simple as that.

  • I'm so appreciative of anyone who understands the comedy of Neil Hamburger. It goes over so many peoples' stupid heads.

  • Let's get the party started.

  • Then you are fucking stupid.

  • Yes you are stupid.

And you perpetually prove it by not understanding anti-comedy.

Anti-comedy, which of course, becomes comedic in the end.

Go have fun listening to Dane Cook or whatever mainstream comedy you fucks listen to nowadays.

  • I love how you automatically assume I like Dane Cook. I cant stand Dane Cook. And I can appreciate "anti-comedy" but this is fucking stupid. I like a lot of different comics and find a lot of asinine things to be funny. This is not on that list. You dont have to get all butt hurt cause someone doesnt like something you like. Now go play Halo 3 or whatever overrated monotonous games you fucks play these days.

  • You've been trolled, asshole.

  • i couldnt even hear what he said. madonna?

  • TX for not letting me post this so my friends can easily enjoy it! ass

  • -.-

  • I think they were scared not to laugh.

  • I think it's a lot funnier when the crowd is not into it. The Australian crowd "gets it" -- ruining the whole thing

  • Totally, I saw him open for Tenacious D in Los Angeles and the crowd hated him so much they were howling for his execution!

The crowd's reactions to Neil are the funniest things about his shtick.

  • @arkmay loll word I buy that for a dollar. Though it's always sorta nice to see like-minded comedy fans out there who are actually into Neil and his shtick.

  • Where DID you saw that before?

  • The perfect anti-comedian! Looks like he was performing for a crowd that actually get him.

  • yeah he's incredible. he's actually pretty different when he's not onstage.

  • literally the greatest performer to have ever lived!

  • agreed!

  • What a showmen!

  • Genius.

  • This character is a work of art, I tell ya!

  • Does Neil's right tux sleeve have the permanent reek of whiskey?

  • Wow.. that's some pretty low brow humor.. if you can call that humor.

  • fhaggot

  • It's anti-humour, it's not supposed to be funny, and that's why it's funny.

  • good statement son

  • we need him for president

  • I actally found his drink bit funny. What I didn't know before is that Neil Hamburger is actually a character and I think his ambition is to be the world's worst stand up. I wonder what his motivation is?

  • Possibly his motivation might be to be the worlds worst stand up. Admittedly this is a problem because the worlds worst stand up id plainly going to be hilarious

  • you are the single least appealing person hiding behind an online name in the whole world. period.

  • ROFL

  • truly a great american comic

  • @InTheCompanyOfMorons just shows how shit americans sence of humour is!

  • @InTheCompanyOfMorons he isn't american
