Thank you for this interesting comparison - it seems like the French spinning top is way better than the UK one because it looks more expensive and it spins perfectly (maybe the UK top is made of aluminium and the French one is made of steel.)

Have to warn people when I got my UK one out of the box it was a real struggle to get the little flat open and I had to be quite forceful with it and realised I had ripped the plastic a little bit. The UK one just is so rubbish, really stupidly made in short. Lucky Oscar getting the right one.

@iReturnVide0tapes Ah. Well from what I know the briefcase is exactly the same on the UK and American version (apart from maybe a different of size on the interior compartments and the PASIV manual. Contents wise the American version also features a comicbook (the same one found in the French set, but obviously printed in english for the US version). Also, American set was limited to 2000 copies as far as I recall (not numbered though).

I like both versions....obviously the French version is highly quality and the case is far better...but for the price i think the UK version is value for money. At over twice the price....is the French version twice as good as the UK....i would say no.

They're both great sets, but the French one is absurdly expensive, Ive seen it go on ebay for $150-$180, where as the UK you can get on amazonuk for around $45-$50.

HUGE difference, and while the French version is clearly a nicer case because of the handle, feet, being slightly larger, in my opinion it doesn't justify that significant of a price differential. I would have a hard time shelling out that much money for those differences personally. That's just my opinion though :p

The engraved title on the bottom of the UK spinner makes that one side lose weight which therefore causes it to spin a greater loop. For a perfect spin there has to be equal weight on all sides

I don't think he's being biased. He's pointing why the French version is more superior than the UK one. Obviously you can see that the distributors for the French release spent more time with their release. It's obvious when you know which one has more quality, so I wouldn't call that biased.

@webeee01 Of course I do, because that's the one that I like best. I don't hate the UK version or anything but this comparison was done to compare the big differences and if you look at it bluntly the french version is made to a much higher standard IMO. Also, like a lot of people pointed out I have no connection to France and I'm afraid the nature of this review is just a reflection of my own thaughts. I wouldn't mind hearing someone debate over why the UK version is superior though.

It's so unfair the French version is loaded with better items for the BR Dvd and we get nothing but a top, the bd dvd and normal dvd and some cards and a small notebook. It's just an insult. I like the UK top as the chrome effect on the FR version looks far too new, the UK oxidised look makes it look more real, like it is owned personally.

@iSid88 Yeah the UK top is actually a better effort at making it look like the movie spinner but both spinners are so far from breing screen accurate that I still prefer the French just based on quality.

@discjunkietv Well alrightie, you know i'd say that the France version is more of a replicas direction to the edition while the uk version is a bit to the ''goodies'' side, meh, to be honest the only downfall i find in the uk version is the fact that it must be displayed in that retarded way lol.
