I love her, I love the song and I think this is one of those covers that deserve to exist (may like it or not but there's arrangement work) .. but I gotta say, it lets me down a little, to know that so many artists sell covers as singles and play them live, without stating clearly that they come from somewhere else. There are people who don't even know who the author is! I mean, covers are great but you should ALWAYS give some credit! - And I'm not defending Candi, I'm a Flo fan.

@Fra1s3 I'm pretty sure one can look up a cover song, and read the credits and find out that the artist isn't the original singer/writer of the song. It's pretty damn hard to cover a song and not credit the original author, because that would be begging for a lawsuit.

And Florence always makes it clear that her cover songs ARE covers. Even "Girl With One Eye", which was written by a very little-known band that are no longer together, Florence publicly credits them.
