The guy didn't get killed before he detonated the vbied. He made it into our compound scratchfree because he had the inside of the dumptruck cab armored with 3/4 inch steel plating. None of our rounds were of a big enough caliber to penetrate it. If he got smokechecked before he got close, how was he able to detonate it? And the roof wasn't already unstable, it took out a million dollar LRAD system. Why would we put that in an unstable room? What unit was you with that you were "there before"?
