@eddiedazle Wonderful question, Here's as best as I can put it Eddie; One of the purposes of art is to pose a question to the viewer, in this case it might be "what the hell is this thing?" "what is it's purpose?" . So, in a way, the purpose of the work is to get viewers to think about and ask this question. Beyond that you can be free to feel any way you'd like about art, love it, hate it, be confused or get it, it's all good!

I think it's because the wheel on the left is not turning any faster, no matter how hard to cranks the handle. And when it does make it to the point at which the tin falls, it falls so helplessly, and you have no control over it whatsoever.

Sounds like my life.
