Quality: Gugabyte > evga > asus > msi

Software and features: Asus > MSi >Evga >gigabyte

    Oc: Asus >evga >Msi > Gigabyte

Overall Longevity and advanced technology: Gigabyte > Evga > Asus > MSI

  • Your all idiots its the new X58 UD7A Socket 1366

  • He is south African/Boar. Its a rip off x58 1356 pin should have stayed intel are fucking asses all they done was expecting AMD to release a new technology they have and intel tried to get their super tech out before AMD then intel fucked the whole game up. They shit their pants and let the tech fly Itel don,t want us to get all the speed that the i71366 delivered all at once. its a market they now control.Fuck intel back to AMD.

  • It Is 1156 pin

  • dose any one know what the chip set is is it 1366 or 1156

  • do u mean cpu socket?

  • Before a few weeks i buy the GA-EX58-Extreme. And its amazing. Together with i7920 it have a amazing performance.

  • definitely buying this one!!

  • This board looks awesome, but you really could take the IDE and the PS2 port! Almost all keyboards and mice are USB!!!

  • lol would be stupid

  • Is this guy high?

  • lmao @ the guy talking

    he pronounces slots as ''sluts'''

    lmao

  • hha sluts....

  • is there a big difference between running a graphics card at 16x and 8x?

also, those PCI-E slots look too close together..

  • I just can't get past the fact that it's a blue mobo, lol, I know picky picky, but it does look ugly.

  • PS2 ports are there for extreme overclockers who want to disable all USB ports (as well as every other port that may help to increase stability under LN2). The single IDE port is there because many PC enthusiasts still have old drives lying around and an IDE port provides an option to put 2 of them to use. Take away the IDE port and you remove some of the versatility of this board. Clear CMOS will be on the final product, just as it was on the original EX58-Extreme.

  • I see and IDE port? what? IDE is ancient history, It does not event be supported on WIN7

  • Yep, I saw it too... hehe

    Slip by GIGABYTE there

  • maybe the IDE is used for diagnostics within prototypes...

  • What can we do if we recently bought a gigabyte board like ud5 about 3 weeks ago but now the rev. 2 is coming out are we just stuck with what we have?

  • yes it is supported by windows 7

  • @akelaristera KILL IT WITH FIRE!.

  • Two critics: first pci-e x1 in the way of the northbridge cooler ESPECIALLY if y watercooled the board. And last but not least, why would a top premium buyer want a board with floppy, PS\2, support? I mean cut it already with that legacy BS. USB3.0 and SATA3 next to a PCI lane... WTH????

  • i hope they put a clear CMOS button in the final revision. would come in handy for OCing
