  • Sad shit...

  • wow. that is so sad they died before they found her. is there any updates in this case? i wonder if she is still being sighted

  • sightings in Oklahoma, Seattle and finally the UK..This just had to be frusterating for this mom.

  • she's dead for sure, bikers are very violent animals.

  • Who knows what really happened to Amy Billing? The possibilities are endless; all we could do is speculate at this point. As I read through some of the comments, I see a lot of people came up with several valid points. Like I said before, “Who knows?!”

  • Surely she could have escaped in all those years.

  • UM left out the fact that a US Customs Dept guy named Henry Johnson Blair (Nickname Hank) harassed Mrs Billig for 21 YEARS on the phone, goading her about Amy ,

This REEKS of sex trafficking , Amy's diary talked about Amy wanting to go to South America with a guy named Hank , where do most Government Sex Trafficked girls get taken? SOUTH AMERICA

  • @ElleCM2

The biker gangs just kidnap girls for these men in high places and sell them on making a little money for themselves, they are low down on the totem pole. Look higher.......

  • the poor woman.

  • she is everywhere, yet no one ever see her

  • Mother's death ends quest to find child

For more than 30 years, Susan Billig looked for her daughter, Amy. On Tuesday, March 2005 the Coconut Grove woman passed away, never having found her.

Susan Billig died without ever finding her daughter.

The Coconut Grove woman – whose 31-year quest to find her missing teenage daughter took her from drug dens to prisons across the country and even across the Atlantic – died of complications from a heart attack. She was 80.

  • thats soooo sad

  • Man, this story is effed up. :(

  • This episode is slightly wrong according to other sources.

It was supposedly a member of The Pagans that admitted to having Amy at one point. Investigators now believe she was never with a biker gang. They believe it was just a ploy to extort money.

The mother passed away in 2005.

It is believed that Amy was killed and disposed of the day she disappeared.

  • not to mention after multiple rapes, druggings, and probable beatings, she would possibly be irreperably mentally damaged and seems like thats what happened, seeing as shes described as "mute"

  • if she was being held by bikers then she would have been locked away and never allowed near a phone. she would have no way to contact her mother. after a certain point she was probably killed because she lost her "value"

  • They need to hire the Halo Corporation for abductions recovery.

  • Amy gets around!

  • Ola one and all;

Google Henry Johnson Blair alongside the name Amy Billig. The case is solved, all that's left is for some intrepid soul with a badge to connect the dots.

  • @444rosey444 i hope so to....

  • @444rosey444 i hopse so to....

  • this girl comes from strong stock, if anyone could survive she could. I hope that in heaven the parents got all the answers they needed.

  • can you post the selena edon case?

  • if she were still alive she wouldve found the unsolved mysteries segment on her via youtube and figured out what the hell is going on. her mom and dad both have passed away .....very sad.

  • they fukkin mute her...screwed those bikers. so sad.

  • That is some mother. I'm not religious, but I sure hope there is a heaven because this woman belongs there.

  • This isn't just a story. This is an EPIC saga!

  • The mom reminds me of Marie Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond. She has a very similar voice and all the same kind of mannerisms. Too bad Amy's mother died... she was obviously very sure that she would find her one day.

  • this broke my heart

  • im sure amy couldnt try to escAPE ...something sounds not right

  • what shocks me is that these losers are allowed to get away with these things. I can tell you one thing for sure, it would be differant if i was in power. Why should these criminals be tolerated when the rest of us are working our butts of to survive. They should be killed immediately without a single warning.

  • This case is so sad. It just doesn't make sense. How does forestkogs know her mother died at 80? I totally agree that the old man should have bought the girl but that story doesn't really make sense to begin with so....Why is life so weird and crazy? My heart goes out to this family.

  • I think they are simply jerking these parents around. They knew!! the guy at the post office was a "detective" and that the info would get back to the parents. Cruel and sick.

  • DID THEY FAMILY EVEN OFFER MONEY FOR AMY?

  • @analfabeta44 They probably did.

  • This case is so sad-my heart aches for the family

  • she was killed right after she was raped this mom is living in another planet, like they would carry a kidnapee for miles

  • @badsign1980 Hon, if you really love your child, you don't give up that hope. To say that she's crazy...well, I guess you would have to call every parent of a missing child crazy. Until a body surfaces, she is missing until further notice.

  • the old english investigator shoulda have brought the american gal

  • dont believe she is alive, have a hard time believing amy was in england, having to go through customs, she would be questioned.

  • @mvf71 Well, women in the sex trade industry often are taken to other countries illegally. And they don't come back.

  • The mother died 2005 age 80.

  • So when did bikers become pimps? lol

  • I saw the specials on television and then read the book. It really is a tragic and haunting tale. I don't know that we'll ever know for certain the truth about Amy Billing but my conjecture is she died on the day she was abducted.

  • They are so sure she was kidnapped by bikers, but not much evidence to prove it. So sad.

  • poor girl.. she had her entire life in front of her. And even if she is alive right now, she'd be in her late 40s. Her life ruined... she'd prolly lost all hope and awaiting death. No one deserves that!

  • @nsakic

Try to find her on facebook, i looked, and found a woman Amy Fox Billig..looks like her..

  • @Tinna1983

Well, if that was the same person, she would have contacted her as well and I'm pretty sure facebook would've been one of the social n/w site her family checked.

  • @Tinna1983 There are many women in the world that look like her.

  • it's sad that both of Amy's parents died without knowing what ever happened to her. I wonder if anyone else is still searching for Amy?

  • @Daffneyfan Her brother would probably still be continuing the search. So incredibly sad.

  • @roguegirl29 I didn't know she had a brother? Anyways, I hope he or someone can find her someday, if she's still alive, hopefully she is.

  • @Daffneyfan They show him in the first part.

  • Wow that is one dedicated mother.

  • Why didn't UM made an age progression of what Amy might look back in 1994? I'm sure that some viewers might recognise her!

  • @ruantengyi Thing is though, prolonged drug usage would've severely altered her appearance. I hate to say it, but I think that she's deceased. I hope not but considering how so much time has passed and the dangers of drugs and prostitution, it's very likely that she's dead.

  • this is one of the saddest stories ever, the parents searched for her everywhere, never gave up hope, but then her father passed away and then her mom passed, they died, and they never found out where their daughter was,

if she is dead which i hope is not the case, they will all meet in heaven

  • you know what i think Susan billig should have done? she must have paid another biker to go to wherever it is that she heard Amy was and pretended like he wanted to buy her and bring her back to Susan.i don't know if she tried this.i am sure she must have.

  • the mom died in 2005 and her husband died in the early ninties....

  • It should be obvious that by this time, Amy is dead.

She was used for sex by these outlaws and possibly forced to prostitute hersself or even dance.

I don't buy the British PI story. What would these bikers be doing in England? An why take the chance of selling her to a starnger who could be a cop or narc? I don't buy it.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Biker gangs are ALL over the world. You would be surprised. For example, the 81s are ALL over Europe and Great Britian.

  • @yummydarjeeling Homegrown biker gangs perhaps but you don't get that impression in the segment.

I still stick by my intial impression that Amy is dead. She was used up and abused up probably and was killed by some party.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Yeah. Drugs and prostitution are very dangerous. Even for someone like me, who tries to be optimistic, it would be very hard to keep on holding on to the belief that she is alive. And I don't think that she is alive. Its been some thirty five years.

  • @roguegirl29 Drugs are dangerous if taken out of moderation. Certainly, prostitution is no picnic-for any woman.

There's optimism and there's reality. Iam a realist.

What reason is there to keep her alive all these years?

Even if she left the bikers, why no contact?

    She's most likely dead.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Depends on the type of drugs taken. Even a heroine junkie can od, just as any first time user could. Like I said, while I try to be optimistic, I don't think that she's alive.

  • @roguegirl29 True but OD'ing is usually about the conjunction between volume of drugs taken and the condition of one's body and organs.

I would agree, she's not alive. Sad case. Wish the family well.

  • She was probably alive for some time...as it has been said, she probably became useless to the gang.

  • @ItBrandonSilver Again, no new ground there. It seems to me she is dead. Unless she escaped and lived elsewhere and was too sacred to come back home but that seems unlikely to me. She's dead.

  • @ItBrandonSilver In a lot of gangs, women are treated as little more then property: To be used and then thrown away.

  • how dare they do this! Why dont those fuckers sell themselves instead of young women! I wouldve pulled a liam neeson taken on those bitches!

  • @psunny24ify you would have done nothen. really nothen. the out laws were in st clare shores Michigan when i was just in my early 20's. when i came home from the army. i knew a few of them. they were nice to me for what ever reason. this was before they joined up with the hells angles but to you they might beat you or even killed you. i am telling you the truth. i did know a few of them.

  • @imthefrogman you dont know what i would and wouldnt do. those out laws are nothing but punks with guns and motorcycles, well guess what my uncles have motorcycles and almost everybody in my family owns a gun. people are only victims if they allow themselves to be and ill be damned if im gonna let anybody punk me!

  • @psunny24ify LMAO. I seen that movie.

  • Comment removed

  • all i have to say is wow

  • Ya know, if she's still alive (and that's a big IF), she may be living under a different name and be working as a prostitute or stripper. But in my heart and mind, I feel that she's dead. I'm just hoping that her family can find some sort of salvation from this.

  • thanks for posting unsolved mysteries this officially makes you a badass

  • They were telling her to stop messing with them.

  • Actually, there's no proof that Branch (the guy who claims he owned Amy) made a deathbed confession about Amy's fate ; his girlfriend/widow made those claims in order to get money from a British documentary crew and Susan Billig. The 'confession' is at odds with what Branch and various other people said over the years.

  • amy billig was really pretty, all these girls they kidnap all are whats up with that

  • OMG.

  • My heart goes out to Amy's family. Her poor father and mother died broken hearted not knowing the fate of their daughter. This idiotic biker on his deathbed told a different story. I think sadly Amy died early on and perhaps in a non-biker related incident. I think anyone who misled this poor woman until her dying day should be executed alongside the killer(s).

  • @6151RichmondStreet What did he say!?!?

  • Nonsense.

  • No, more like common sense.

  • She probably developed some form of Stockholm syndrome, where the captives become in love with their captors in a twisted way. Poor girl.

  • @EMUmonster u sound mentally ill

  • @milaalim74

What? Why do you think that?

  • @EMUmonster It's sad that you'd think that any woman would enjoy being gang raped by drug addicted animals. People have been really naive in this case. Amy was kidnapped, raped and killed in short order. She wasn't taken to all sorts of the country.

  • Instead of "engaging him in conversation", the British PI should have "bought" the girl he was offered if he had any suspicion that she was Amy. Even if she wasn't, it should have occurred to him that this girl may have been abducted. He should have accepted the offer and then taken her to the police. A missed opportunity if there ever was one!

  • Well, put yourself in his shoes. If some stranger, especially a rough looking biker, walked up to you in a post office and offered to sell you a girl, you would probably think he was crazy and just walk away. At least the PI engaged the guy and found out some information, rather than just dismissing the biker and leaving the building. Hindsight is always 20/20. I doubt you would have "purchased" this girl if you were in his place.

  • @Yakantheterek What would you do if some guy walked up to you in a public place and offered you a girl? I imagine that most people would raise their eyebrows, say "no thanks" and go about their busines. At least the British PI engaged the biker guy to get more information. It's ridiculous to call that a missed opportunity or put any blame on the PI whatsoever. The PI did more than most people, yourself included, would probably do in that situation.

  • @alliecamp But here's the problem. Since the biker knows what he's doing is illegal so by asking him too many questions, he got suspicious and left. I don't blame the PI but I do agree that this was a missed opportunity if this girl was actually Amy. Yes, most of us would not have purchased this girl. But then, most of us aren't PIs either. It's possible that he had investigated other missing persons cases so he would know when something's amiss, wouldn't he?

  • @childofthemarshalsea Well since we KNOW this stuff exists if someone said "Do you want to buy a girl" I would say yes and take her to the police station

  • @TheHappinessFaerie That's what I would have done. But that's just me.

  • @alliecamp Well since we KNOW this stuff exists if someone said "Do you want to buy a girl" I would say yes and take her to the police station

  • @Yakantheterek I know, that part made me so angry!

  • @Yakantheterek That's exactly what I was thinking. It makes you wonder what leads were false and what leads were real.

  • @Yakantheterek

so right! especially coming from an investigator, someone naturally curious and sharp

  • Susan Billig died on June 7, 2005 at the age of 80 after searching ceaselessly for her daughter for 31 years.

    -from The Doe Network

  • lol the outlaws, these bmfs are all over the world!

  • wow... what a case. yeah, she is probably a prostitute or dancer of some sort now, unless she was found.

  • are we sure Ted Bundy didn't get to this girl, he killed so many women of which he admited to like over 40, but many say it could have been double that

  • Young, pretty, slender, long hair parted down the middle - Amy had the appearance of Bundy's victims. However, I don't believe she fits the Bundy timeline

  • yea I may be off on the timeline of his murders, but thought she fit the description of someone Bundy would have killed, he killed so so many

  • ya alot of these type of vids support such claims even more so than this one, bundy was well in to the hundreds id say

  • @mugabezuwane yeah Ted could have gotten to Amy but was she in the area ?

  • @MrSexxxy20 I wasn't sure if Bundy was in the area where Amy Billig disappeared from, but I thought it might be an interesting idea to look at, I know that he had been in that area before and the timeline matches up, so could be a chance

  • Truly fucked up shit, when I hear stories like this makes me lose faith in humanity.

  • I have already lost faith in humanity

  • Heartbreaking ... :(

  • The biker gang connection seems so unlikely and fantastic BUT how did the Dave guy know about the scar?I've read that Amy's mom recently died...without ever finding out what happened to Amy. :(

  • That's pretty sad. Wonder what happened to the girl.

  • @kt1pl2 I think he knew because he was there when she was being abused. He probably abused her himself. Did you note the confederate flag that was in the room he was in?

  • @Aditi000

this is a re-creation of what supposedly happened. Who knows if there was really a flag in the room or not. It's a recreation, not a fact for fact basis!!!!!! Durrrrrrrrr

  • Why didn't the idiot buy her and get the police involved so she could return home?

  • probably because normal people, even in other countries, usually arent approached with offers of buying girls. how would you have reacted if someone offered you to buy a girl?
