@vozakian Unfortunately not. It is not aimed at power users. I think Apple is trying to aim it at people who want a bit more than an iPad, but less than an actual big laptop. So the type of person who travels a lot, whilst reading internet pages and emailing.
I like the idea of the new apple air as an cheap way to get into mac computers. And it has a keyboard which ipad does not. And the solid state disk makes it a fast computer. Sounds great if you ask me. But I need a computer for making music and the air is not intended for music, but it is a great computer by the looks of it, regardless. You look tired. Get some sleep. Good job on reviewing all of this. I'm not an expert but could flash memory become the new norm in all miniature computers?
Anyhow, you didn't mention, but the new macbook air still doesn't play CDs? (not that I want it to)
