Because half the point of the show was to advertise for Ford.

Compared to the original show, which only mentioned what kind of car KITT was when someone had to reference him, "That Trans-Am". It got to the point when people were going into Pontiac dealerships asking for the "KITT model", after so many people did this, Pontiac asked Universal Studios to stop mentioning the make. So they referred to him as a "black T-top".

the main problem i had was the huge slap in your face in the form of product placement. in the old series they didnt rub it in your face that it was a GM car, but in the new series every other turn looks like a freakin ford commercial!

Tak sú tam transformacie na všetky autá ktoré doteras boli ale nie všetky čo boli celkovo lebo by sa niektoré zbytočne opakovali (napr: Atack mode) a malo by to moc dlhú dĺžku. A tá transformácia od 2:27 je transformácia z 10 dielu hneď ako odišiel z vezenia a tá za tým je zo 4tého kedy bol Mike otrávený a utekal po tom ako strielal na toho vedca.
