I always enjoyed the 2 sonic adventure games WHEN you got to play sonic/shadow. The feeling of speed they managed to capture was just amazing, then they introduced about 20 needless characters you had to play -_-. The music was always pretty good too. It seems sega learned from their mistakes in the next sonic game, no side characters. Just sonic, lots of running and epic moments captured.

I really think this game was actually good...the XBox360 version anyway. I used to like the Wii version but then I played the XBox360 version and have come to the conclusion that when the game was ported to the Wii it was butchered horribly. Levels were bland in design, the hub worlds were simulated and you could not wander them, difficulty was toned down, etc. It felt like a beta demo more then anything else unlike the XBox360 version which felt more like a full game.

I liked sonic back in the era of the Sega Genesis. When sega fell behind and sold to the highest bidder, all, and I mean ALL of the sonic era changed dramatically. The games became more kid-friendly. Not that that's a bad thing. Personally, I don't like anything really after Sonic Adventure one. I'm not saying they are bad games, I just miss the old sonic.

In the original Sonic you save cute little animals trapped inside robots by eeevil scientist, in this you burst through a giant monstrosity's eye and out the back of it's head! WITH BLOOD! @Dulence2 IMO, the only truly bad main-series Sonic games are ShTH (and even then, SOME fun could be had and it's debatable as to whether or not you could call it "main series") and S06. Heroes, wasn't AWFUL, just repetitive and frustrating and the rest have been damn good fun. I fucking LOVED this game, even the Werehog stages.

I was totally in ur shoes! I was stuck on this boss and it took me like 6 months to beat it! (COunting I never picked up the game for 5 months so duh! LOL) It's actually hard yet easy. Gather up as much rings as u can (I got 73) then shoot at it's eye everytime u hit an eye gather more rings! xDDD and that's the key to my sucsess
