what i really like about gypsy horses are that they can do anything. the do dressage, show jumping all that stuff! at one of my shows there was a family of gypsy vanners- mom, dad, baby

how did you train him so well? i have a younger gypsey vanner who is extremely pushy and a little bit lazy(exsepte for when he falls behind trail riding, then he wont stop a full gallop) but atleast the breed is realy laid back

Beautiful. This breed seems short, but are they strong? Like for an overweight rider? (yeah I know, I should diet but Im lazy)

@TheMicrocat They can come in all sizes. Biker is 14.2. But I have a mare who is just under 16 hands. And yes they are very strong and Bikers easily carries my husband who is on the larger side.

Omg that horse is beautiful! Theres a field near me with about 8 Gypsy Vanners/Irish tinkers and we sometimes see them on the grass outside by the busy road eating! Theres a group of gypsys living in caravans just next to where they stand near the road so we reckon they must let them out, but I really worry that they will get run over!

Your horse is amazing! How did you train him to go slow when you ride western? I have a 3 year old Gypsy and she won't go slow enough for me to sit when she trots! Any advice would be great! Thanks :)

Oh, and you can ride so very well. Watching the turn, you didn't pull the teeth out of him to make him turn, and using your leg to make him go sideways. Still my favourite horse vid on Youtube.
