if you kill yourself, even in buddhism it is frowned upon because there is no separation between yourself and all beings in the universe. So if you kill yourself you are actually harming all beings.

And that mind that says "they can do the rest of us a big favor by going away", only caters to this "I, me, my" mind. this is very dangerous. Only love other people. Wishing that others kill themselves is no good! Only help other people. This is the bodhisattva way.

Why question the omnipitent, God knows, and we know not, if buddhists think a good life is avoiding conflict, why dont they just live without consumption of food and water? Then they are at peace? Who knows, but I believe in God. There is no likeness of God, but God is part of all things. Praise be to Allah, who created for us the Earth, and is lord of the worlds. Life and the messages we recieve are God's mercy. God guides whom God pleases to guide. Truly God knows, and you know not.

Hell is a vile, abusive, disgusting concept. God buys love & loyalty with torture? Gandhi, Teresa, Mandela would never think of torturing their enemies, whereas a Saddam, Hitler, Stalin would. This is the company that God keeps? Karma & Rebirth is the better, non-violent way. You are not punished, nor are you simply forgiven because you groveled enough. The most important aspect of Karma is that you are held accountable for your actions, you are reborn, given another chance to make amends

It doesn't make any sense for christians & muslims to fear death - after all they say god is very loving & will send them toheaven if they just repent, beg & grovel enough. Why don't they just kill themselves? Then they can be with god in heaven forever & ever! Can't understand why they are fighting this - i mea the earth is already overpopulated, they can do the rest of us a big favor by going away, i am sure their god will understand their sacrifice. @ramaraksha01 so ignorant. we don't pray TO walls and a curtain, we pray to Allah(SWT), the creator of everything in existence. in the Quran Allah tells us that the Kaba aka "walls and a curtain" is the direction of prayer so that instead of people being lost and looking at the sky in all directions; there is one direction that we can all praise His Mightiness. there is no "your God" or "my God"; there is only One God, the Creator of the universe.
