It's not just walking 1k, it's hiking through difficult terrain, in unbearable heat, carrying heavy things. I think the fact that one family got to just row around the island was bullshit. Why did they get that huge advantage? Also, at the end...did each family say they were giving up one room? I can't keep track of all the different people, but it sounded like only the one family said they were giving up their room, but someone else said "that means everyone will have a room."

Also, they made that church sound terrifying, and I'm sure it was creepy, but sleeping on what looked to be some hay, grass and dirt is definitely more comfortable than sleeping on the uneven boards of the wooden floor of that house. Of course, a bed would be the best option. Also, I think they're bringing in cots or something similar for the other families...notice how they show shots of them setting up for bed, but not a single one of anyone sleeping or waking up?

I'd never heard of this show, but it caught my eye on YouTube & I checked it out.

As a big reality TV fan, I have to say I am very impressed with this show.

I'm working my way through the 7 episodes & lovin' it.

This one is a must-see series!! It's like Survivor, but family-style.
